"Leftist activists who march to the Pentagon next month will discover that their path won't be as clear as it has been in the past.
The group, led by Cindy Sheehan, Jane Fonda, Ed Asner and their ilk, plan to gather March 17 at the Vietnam Memorial Wall to begin a march to protest America's involvement in the Iraq war. The date marks the fourth anniversary of the war's beginning.
This time, however, protestors will see objectors if they spit on Iraqi veterans again, or throw paint on a war memorial. This time, they will encounter a buzz saw of Vietnam veterans and supporters who will gather to protect the Wall, and show their support for U.S. troops. The counter-protestors are calling themselves the Gathering of Eagles."

Last time they painted peace signs on the capitol steps and got away with it. I think they may be in for a surprise this time.
Wish I lived on the East Coast!

There are too many friends names on The Wall for me to sit with my thumb up my ass and let these scumbags do anything to deface The Wall or the hallowed ground it sits upon.

If we were anywhere near there, we'd love to show up and join them.
I'd probably end up in jail, but I wouldn't care. It'd be worth it.

The group, led by Cindy Sheehan, Jane Fonda, Ed Asner ...What a sterling roster of "leaders" ... three has-beens or never-weres who are utterly irrelevant. If those losers are the best the "peace" pukes can muster, they might as well stay home and spank the monkeys while worshipping their Ho Chi Minh posters.

I hope that Rolling Thunder crowd is aware of this and that a great many of them will make plans to be there --on their bikes.
Talk about a show of force.
If enough of them show up, they could block access to The Wall as well as access to the Pentagon.
I think I'll check The Net for a website for Rolling Thunder.
EDIT: Here it is: http://www.rollingthunder1.com/index.html
An e-mail to them wouldn't hurt. I sent mine.

It is my understanding that Rolling Thunder will be at The Wall on March 17th and in full force.:D
I'll post details of the day when I get back home because I sure as hell will be there!!

All the years that I lived in Richmond, I only got to be up in Northern Virginia once to see Rolling Thunder in action --a small part of it from where I got to stand and watch.
I always thought it would be the thrill of lifetime to be on the back of one of those bikes as they were pulling away from the Pentagon to go roaring across Memorial Bridge.
Other than seeing Merle Haggard in person, I just didn't think there would be many thrills left in life after riding with Rolling Thunder.

Only a group of completely brain-dead anti-American liberals would attempt to confont even one lone Vietnam veteran standing at The Wall. Five men deep constitutes a massacre in the making. I hope there are videos of the event.

The National Park Service will have The Wall blanketed with video coverage.
Just heard from a friend that the off-duty motorcycle club known as The Blue Knights will be there to defend The Wall.I do not have positive confirmation of that nor the number of club members.
This whole damn thing is snowballing into one bigassed event folks!!:thumb:

Intel update of the Gathering of Eagles.....
The Patriot Guard has refused to participate. That is not a problem or offensive because they are primarily focused on Military funerals. :thumb:

Here are a couple of photos I took on my last visit to the Vietnam War Memorial in 2004:

On my first visit shortly after the Memorial was opened, all I could think of as we walked along the Wall was: How many of these brave men and women died because pro-Communist demonstrators like Bill Clinton prolonged the war?

Been there a couple of times myself, and I thought the same, but I also thought about how many could be chalked up to Lyndon Baines Johnson and Robert Strange Mcnamara!

Or Fonda and Kerry (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1091943/posts), who gave the gooks direct aid and comfort and who should have been shot as traitors the instant their shoes hit US soil.

What's that old song about 'We don't smoke marijuana.. and don't take LSD..' I seem to recall it playing on TV or in a movie about the 70's while these construction workers were beating hippies asses... *sigh*

Are these real eagles we talkin bout or figurative ones?
Cause real ones would be cool. Kind of like Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. And patriotic ones would be all the more cooler shitting on liberal's heads and ripping the eyes out of CodePink shitsmears.

Well, I'm no good at flying, but landing's my ace in the hole. Got a whole bowelful just waiting to drop. Unleash the beast on a spikey-hair youth. It'd look like shish-kabob at a cannibal convention in Borneo.

I would say McNamara / Johnson / Kennedy would share the bulk of the responsibility.
Living on the West Coast, I have only seen the traveling wall. If this administration doesn't get a clue soon as to who the enemy is, we will have another equivalent to this wall one day. What did somebody say about 25,000 Saudi's coming to school????

If I were in a position to do so, I think I'd prefer to drop it on Mama Moonbat.

As native DCer, but now living quite a ways away, I wish I was not so damn broke, otherwise I would go back to my old stomping grounds. And even give a guided tour of the city to Riverboat and Co. Nothing like taunting Lefties who belch and bellow, but would fold like a house of cards when confronted with someone who would like to beat the ever-living crap out of them.
I hope there are some severe casualties among these pond-scum lefties. To the point that they cannot breed anymore.

Me, too, Zorc. Living in Maine, it would be a short trip. Unfortunately, what between being broke and having to go to work, I can't afford flying there for one day. Bummer. I'd LOVE to be there and confront these traitorous scumbags. :flame: Man, I'd give them an earful.
