It's an excellent analysis of an utter travesty of justice. It was a RAT witch-hunt. And does anyone believe that there is any possibility of a Bush official getting a fair and unbiased trial in DC, one of the open sewers of Bush-loathing liberalism?
It smacks of the old jest, "We'uns is gonna give ya a fair trial and then we's gonna hang ya."

There's a draft Thompson movement picking up steam:
Fred Thompson On Levin Tonight
March 5, 2007
Amid rumors that Senator Fred Thompson might make a run for the Presidency, he was on Mark Levin's radio show this evening discussing the Libby matter and Levin ended the call by asking him about the rumors.
He played it rather coy, simply saying, I'll have more to say about that a little bit down the road.
I don't know enough about his back story, but based upon what I do know, he's someone I could support. He's also someone I think would play very well to the electorate, potentially the closest thing to a Reagan I've seen around lately.

And his voting record: http://www.ontheissues.org/Senate/Fred_Thompson.htm
Fred Thompson would pardon Scooter Libby.

Thompson is a member of the board of Libby's defense fund. See here (http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/02/09/libby.grand.jury/index.html).

I can't hear the thing. I've turned up my sound volume and it stays the same. Almost like whispers.

There's a draft Thompson movement picking up steam:...We had a previous thread recently on just that subject... It probably has slipped to page 2, but have a look for it... Its on this forum...
The more I hear about Thompson, and the more a see him making public comments like this on current issues, the more excited I get about the possibility of him announcing his candidacy... I got a feeling about this... I think by this Fall he'll announce his decision..

George Bush should pardon Libby immediately but he doesn't have the balls.

I can't get the link to work at all -- I click, nothing happens.
EDIT: Don't know why it didn't work before -- I finally got it/heard it.

On Fox News , he re-itterated the miscarriage of justice theme and said Libby should be pardoned now ...
He said the Justice Dept knew that there was no "crime" in releasing her name , and , if there had been a "law" against releasing her name ...Armitage IS the guilty party !! ( But , as Fred pointed out , Armitage was not on the "bad guy" list ...)
Every single witness had contradictions between their FBI "recollections" and there Grand Jury "recollections" ...
All of the witnesses need to go where ever Libby ends up ...
