'Naughty hottie' has sex with 'God' on TV (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/staticarticles/article54607.html)
Comedy Central (http://www.wnd.com/redir/r.asp?http://www.comedycentral.com/help/questionsCC.jhtml) consummated its season of "the Sarah Silverman Program" last night by featuring the title character having sex with God, and then trying to brush him off after a night of lovemaking.
Silverman was shown in bed with an amorous Almighty, whom she referred to as "Black God," portrayed by actor Tucker Smallwood (http://www.wnd.com/redir/r.asp?http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0806613/), a former NBC television director who also served in the Army in Vietnam.
The network, perhaps best known for its boundary-pushing "South Park" series, is offering an online clip (http://www.wnd.com/redir/r.asp?http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_sarah_silverman_program/index.jhtml) of the episode, which is slated for rebroadcast tonight at 10:30 p.m. Eastern. (Viewer discretion of the clip and website strongly advised.)
Could they please, please, please offend Christians some more ... please? Truly, Christians are the last group left where discrimination and ridicule is not only allowed, but encouraged and billed as "entertainment."

I thought that was kinda what made Christianity...well...um...Christianity. Being pointed at and laughed at and still being steady in your faith, wasn't that the point?
edit - Plus, God is far from exclusive to Christianity.

As far as I know, God Is far from exclusive to Christianity. So you would have to agree that more people than Christians were offended.
I, a person of no particular faith, still find it offensive when some lowlife tries to be funny at someone elses expense. As for being laughed and still being steady in their faith, I applaud those that do so. :claps:

Who said otherwise? Being offended has nothing to do with steadfastness in one's faith.

Incorrect (kind of). God is exclusive to Jews and Christians. Other faiths have their gods, but they ain't God.

edit - Plus, God is far from exclusive to Christianity. There are different levels of 'fun' and jest with one's faith. Scoffing mockery is the undertone here though and the fact that this whore sets herself up to be some kind of modern Mary (the mother of Jesus) is diabolical, at the very least.

Yeah, Sarah Silverman is Jewish, so you have to at least include them with Christians in regards to who may have been offended.

Plus, she's got to be one of the worst comediennes on the planet. I actually think ROSIE is funnier than Silverfish.

Yes, Book. Jesus knew what was in store for us. He knew that Christians would have to endure the bigotry, ignorance, and intolerance of people like liberals. People like you. That's what His warning was all about.
And you liberals go out of your way, every single day of your worthless life, to prove Him right.
Good job, mate. Well done.

That's an interesting point of view. So what makes Christianity Christianity has something to do with being laughed at? Strange. Incomprehensible.
Moving on. God is strictly the property of Judeo-Christianity; the rest are pretenders.
Beyond that . . . only imbeciles find Silverman's gross and even pitiful attempts at humor humorous. Curious, I checked her out once. I'd rather read War and Peace -- which, bored to tears, I hated -- again. Even at the tender age of 25 I had already figured out the essence of human nature and war; Tolstoy's work is about 800 pages too long and should be reduced to a single work of fiction and a separate collection of essays.
I had to read Tolstoy; I gave Silverman ten minutes. Next.

Silverman should go to the Middle East and have sex with Allah. See how long she lasts after that.

You see, this response of yours started off so well. You seem to have understood what I was trying to say, and yet you turn it into a venomous attack on me.
How exactly was I being intolerant towards you (Bear in mind I too am Christian, regardless of your opinion on the fact)
You are a sad, bitter woman. I pity you. Well done.

To be honest knowing the crap that comic does.... I'm not surprised and I dont really care enough to get angry. Its dumb, I dont watch her show, and as for idiots choosing to smite God... he will smite them.
Who said otherwise? Being offended has nothing to do with steadfastness in one's faith. Yes it does. If you can't take a joke then your faith is probably on shakey ground to start with.
Incorrect (kind of). God is exclusive to Jews and Christians. Other faiths have their gods, but they ain't God. Says you and your Holy book vs. Them and their Holy book.

Book, theres a difference between laughing at some christian obscurities on shows like the Simpsons and a comic having sex with the Almighty Father. I know it is for a joke, but is a display of how socially sick our nation has become.

How so? A loose intepretation of the Bible reveals that God had sex with Mary.
At anyrate, if it is so offensive to God, why doesn't he smite the blasphemer? My opinion is that God likes a joke as much as the next person. Look at wombats, platypusses and Sarah Silvermans ratings if you don't believe me ;)
