Dazzling new images reveal the 'impossible' on the Sun (http://space.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn11432&feedId=online-news_rss20)
The restless bubbling and frothing of the Sun's chaotic surface is astonishing astronomers who have been treated to detailed new images from a Japanese space telescope called Hinode.
The observatory will have as dramatic an impact on our understanding of the Sun as the Hubble Space Telescope has had on our view of the universe beyond, scientists told a NASA press conference in Washington, DC, US, on Wednesday.
"Everything we thought we knew about X-ray images of the Sun is now out of date," says Leon Golub from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, US. "We've seen many new and unexpected things. For that reason alone, the mission is already a success."

So, there is much more solar activity than previously thought. More evidence that the hotter sun is the cause of global warming.

Well , the Sun is warming Mars ... why not the Earth ...
time for Albore to call for the extinguishing of the Sun ... it is our only hope !

Ya know libbies just wont except that Global Warming is a mini aging process (not a huge tradgedy) the earth was doing long before their dumbasses were born.
This new evidence wont change those false truths they have been carrying around for 30 years.
On the other hand... cool picture.

Wonder if Algore knows what "nova" means?

Doesn't it mean, "It doesn't go"? Which is the reason Chevy's marketing this particular car to young Hispanic males fell flat on it's face back in the 70s?

Their lack of electrical education is glaringly obvious with these stupid lines.
Snip:
Crashing loops
Another surprise sighting is that of giant magnetic field loops crashing down onto the Sun's surface as if they were collapsing from exhaustion, a finding that Golub describes as "impossible". Previously, scientists thought they should emerge from the Sun and continue blowing out into space.
Snip:
Scientists believe that tangled magnetic fields must somehow dump energy in the corona. "Theorists suggested that twisted, tangled magnetic fields might exist," says Golub. "With the XRT, we can see them clearly for the first time."

Flapping magnetic lines that go in a straight line and that they tangle has long ago been exposed as false. It is stupid.
THEY DO NOT EXIST!
That is why they are continually mystified at what is going on.

Well , the Sun is warming Mars ... why not the Earth ...Why not? A: because Saint AlBore, omniscient prophet of Gaia, says so. Isn't that reason enough?

Albore is correct .. the Earth is too far removed from the Sun to be affected by Solar activity ... silly me ... Albore is so much smarter than I , just a simple farmer/truck driver .... I bow down to Albores intellect ...

Okay, this is really wierd, but there is a freaking ball of fire in the sky right now, above our heads.
A BALL OF FIRE!
It rests gently in the sky and warms us up ever so nicely and yet upon closer inspection it is ferociously hot.
...which leads me to believe that we are at a very precise distance from it.
Get too close to it and human life on earth ends. Get too far away and...AGAIN, life ends on the blue marble.
So, then, this precision, it is very calibrated to allow for the life that we are and know.
And the same could be said for the earth's circumfrence and density and gravity, that if gravity were a hair more, it wouldn't allow our bones to form the way they do or crush them outright. If gravity were JUST A HAIR less, we would suffer from brittle bones.
So, again, precision... and calibration, which both suggest that there is a COSMIC MIND at work and that this is no accident.
But, let's not let that cloud our thoughts because that kind of thinking is so lowbrow and midieval and passe, right?
Right atheists?
Sure it is. Sure.

Just millions of chance "evolutions" and "Big Bangs" by chance ALL happening at the perfect precise time ...
surely no sign of Intelligent Design ...

Astronomically, there's a "habitable zone" (http://exobio.ucsd.edu/Space_Sciences/zones.htm) around every star, based on its stellar class. It's defined as the range of distances where liquid water can exist and conditions are right for advanced life to develop. For the sun, it's about 0.82 to 1.2 AU (1 AU = 92,955,810 miles).
What a marvelous coincidence that Earth in the middle of the Sun's HZ. It's almost as though it were planned that way ... nah, it's pure accident.
