Is the earth still recovering from the "little ice age"?

A possible cause of global warming

http://www.iarc.uaf.edu/highlights/2007/akasofu_3_07/Earth_recovering_from_LIA.pdf

14 pages and worth reading.

He is arguing that since the warming since the LIA time is linear. It should be considered part of a NATURAL VARIATION of climate change.

That first link is a wealth of information (numerous links at the bottom of the page).

It is unfathomable to me how anyone with a functioning brain cell can still believe the myth of anthropogenic global warming/climate change.

"I see stupid people" comes to mind....

They have been quiet lately.

Markus,Golgo,Bob Arctor,The Barbarian and of course MichealS who has been quiet a long time.

Stupid people feeling stupid does that.

Never could fathom why they consider the modeled projections as serious science.

Now I am reading a new book.

It is titled:

Unstoppable Global Warming
Every 1,500 years

S. Fred Singer and Dennis T. Avery

I chose to stay informed based on real data and many published papers.

I never believed in global warming to begin with, for the simple fact that I didn't see God making a system so fragile that mankind could break it. Didn't make sense. Still don't.

Actually, there has been a slight warming (about 0.6 deg C) in the past 100+ years, but more than two-thirds of that warming occurred prior to 1940, prior to the post-WW II population explosion and prior to the immense post-WW II industrial expansion.

Unfortunately, "global warming" has become more of a "religious ideology" today than science and like any ideology, emotion trumps logic and reasoning. Yah can't fix stupid.

Unlike liberals, who say "global warming" and mean whatever's convenient, I stick to what they really mean when they say that, which is that evil mankind is heating up the globe. I know perfectly well that the globe is indeed warming up, that almost all of it happened before 1940 and that it's natural.

Is the earth going through a warming cycle? Who knows? I have yet to have one of these Mother Earth worshippers tell me what ended the mini ice age several hundred years ago.

That's really all it is is another "religion". If you've seen these naked hippies draped all over a tree, you'd know there's no other explanation.

Umm...Doc...he's a cat.But that ain't hip. Ain't nobody used "cat" (e.g., cool cat) in decades.

BTW, it's "celic pax", not Felix the Cat".

Sidebar for the OLD folks ...

He is fearless, unbelievable.
He is super dooper and extraordinary.
He's the kind of guy that keeps you feeling merry.

Who?

Felix the cat, the wonderful, wonderful cat.
Whenever he gets in a fix he reaches into his bag of tricks.

Felix the cat, the wonderful, wonderful cat.
You'll laugh so much your sides will ache
Your heart will go pit-a-pat
Watching Felix the wonderful cat.

Is the earth still recovering from the LIA?
You see, INTELLIGENT, RATIONAL people read that question and respond, "Well, DUH!!", whereas, IGNORANT, IRRATIONAL people make feeble attempts to rationalize away the obvious in the vain attempt to arrogantly give more power to humankind than he could EVER possess.

Nutburger is a word that comes to mind...fruitloop is another...
