Today I planted onions, carrots, and beets.

I like to space out my planting so everything doesn't get ready to go at the same time, and spreads out the risk of a late frost for the spring crops.

What do you have in the ground now?Mostly cold water from the slowly melting snow. Planting season up here begins in July.

Start out with fresh gas, then....
If it won't start try taking the air cleaner off, and spraying carb cleaner into the carb intake. Let it set a minute or so, then slowly pull the starter rope several times to push the cleaner all through the carb. Then prime three times, and go for it! Happy tilling!!!!!

Mostly cold water from the slowly melting snow. Planting season up here begins in July.Same here, just about. We plant in June, otherwise we could lose everything to a late freeze.

I got another shipment of plants in the other day.. I put them in the ground and I forgot to check the weather!!:flame: The next day it started snowing! Now it has been snowing here for 5 days!!!! I think the grape vines will be O.K. but am worried about the blueberries!

Anyone know how freeze hardy they are just after transplanting?????

Right now we're growing squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, Jalepeņo peppers and banana peppers. At the end of summer, we're going to till that under and grow lettuce, spinach and broccolli.

Towerpainter, I've had trouble getting carrots started from time to time. I'm pretty certain it had to do with too much soil over the seeds. Next time I do carrots, I'm going to cover the seeds with a thin layer of sand, only.

This year, doing lots of tomatoes (30 plants), bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, cilantro and onions. Tomato plants are over five feet tall already.

Update. Tomato plants are over seven feet tall now, and they're loaded. Should only be another week or two and I'll have them going red.

I've picked dozens of jalapeno peppers, and the Warlord has pronounced them edible and acceptable. Got bell peppers ready to pick, too.

We had some nice tomatoes, too. They weren't big, but they sprawled out quite a bit, went nuts.

You must have used Miracle-GroŽ or something?

All I have in the ground is a couple of weeds, a dead racoon, and a pink flamingo that my idiot neighbor stole from the Mexicans across the street. So you know, the usual.
