NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Wynonna Judd filed for divorce Tuesday from her estranged husband, less than a week after his arrest in Texas on sex charges involving a minor.

Dan R. Roach, 49, was arrested Thursday in Abilene and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child younger than 13 in Nashville, police said.

Beautiful young actress Ashley Judd went to Washington last weekend wearing a crucifix and a trendy little T-shirt that boasted: "THIS IS WHAT A FEMINIST LOOKS LIKE."

The Associated Press snapped a photo of Ashley, honored guest of the "March for Women's Lives," which has been widely disseminated on the Internet. Pro-abortion leaders must be ecstatic. In a sea of angry (Hillary Rodham Clinton), haggard (Cybill Shepherd) and ghoulish (Whoopi Goldberg) women shaking their fists and waving coat hangers, Ashley's pretty smile helped put a softer, gentler and more glamorous spin on the morbid march for "reproductive rights."

Ashley's message to millions of young American women and girls: Opposing the partial-birth abortion ban is fun! Morning-after pills are cool! Sex without consequences rules!

Did her mother ever say who Wynonna's father was? I think she has some similar features to Elvis and Lisa Marie. She grew up thinking Ashley's dad was her father then her mother confessed just a few years ago that wasn't true. Her mother has hepatitis C, I can't remember if that's the one you get from sex or the one you get from dirty needles. And we all know their business because they seem more than willing to announce it. Creepy really.

Charles Jordan, her biological father, died on August 10, 2000 in Louisa, Kentucky. He was 56. Judd grew up believing that Michael Ciminella, father of her half-sister, Ashley, was her father. She learned that Jordan was her real father several years ago, but the two never met.
Arrested for drunk driving. Judd told officers that she couldn't recall how many drinks she had. Her Breathalyzer test was .175, more than twice the legal limit in Tennessee. She was released after posting $500 bond. (13 November 2003)
