'Sorry' Doesn't Seem to Be the Hardest Word
by Ann Coulter

-----

Democrats have the breathtaking audacity to claim that Bush's replacing his own political appointees is "politicizing prosecutions."

They say this as Sandy Berger walks free after stealing and destroying top-secret national security documents -- but Lewis "Scooter" Libby faces decades in prison for not outing a covert agent. (Let's hope he's learned his lesson!)

They say this as Rep. William "The Refrigerator" Jefferson sits on the Homeland Security Committee while waiting for the $100,000 found in his freezer to thaw -- but Tom DeLay remains under an indictment by some hick prosecutor in Texas for an alleged accounting violation.

They say this as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid draws interest on the sale of a property he sold in a complicated land swindle -- but American hero Randy "Duke" Cunningham rots in prison.

They say this while Sen. Chuck Schumer pays no price whatsoever for his Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee having illegally obtained a copy of Republican Lt. Gov. Michael Steele's credit report, for which one employee, Lauren Weiner, pleaded guilty, but served no prison time.

They say this while Sen. Teddy Kennedy is still at large (and getting larger).

Ann is right, as usual. There is NO hope. If Republicans have a death wish, I hope it is soon granted to them so that we can get over this infuriating, frustrating period once and for all, and get on with our lives.

And don't give me the usual stuff about how good they are at national security. Lately, they can't find the pair to stand up to democrats, for crying out loud. Why should I not think that one of these days, they'll start apologizing to Islam? It's no good fighting the enemy without if in the meantime, they are paving the road to power for the enemy withing by allowing them to eventually impeach them, jail them, and Lord knows what else.

I am sick to death of Republicans' pusillanimous, weenie, cowardly attitude of late. Sick, I tell you.

Don't anyone dare criticize me if I choose to vote 3rd party in 2008. I have had it with these stupid cowards.

That's all I have to say. Now I'm going back to work, though I doubt I'll be able to concentrate I'm so mad. :flame:

Appease ME?! Hah! Don't I wish. Why should they bother? After all, I'm just a conservative who will vote for them because "the alternative is worse."

Sorry, Doc. You've got it wrong there ... unless, of course, you were quoting the pansy 'pubs talking to the press or dems.

Anne could add Diane Fienstein's scandal to this. That's a doozy, IMO. But so was the Oil for Food scandal, which has largely been ignored because Democrats don't care and Republicans don't have the balls to squeak about it.

It's so ironic that Repbulicans are the Americans who believe in self-reliance and noble goals like standing up to terrorists and defeating them, while our elected leaders are eunuchs afraid of each others' shadows. Meanwhile, the serfs who want their lives controlled by Democrats elect the ones with spines and cajones to beat up on Republican wimps at will.

The president has absolute authority to fire U.S. attorneys, hold investigative hearings and grant pardons. What's he worried about? That the media will be hysterical and Democrats will call him names? Constantly apologizing doesn't seem to have worked out too well for him either. How about doing something for the Americans who elected him?

The great unanswered questions of our time.

Well, I wouldn't mistake Democrat viciousness for guts. Democrats have no courage. They attack only in overwhelming packs, like sharks; and with the press on their side.

it's simple...politicans are basically the same the world over...BUT remember, the communists and socialists control the Democratic Party and have for years (socialism has killed more people than smallpox, and I count the Nazi's as socialists too)...the Republicans have forgotten why they are there...THEY ALL want reelected so ALL will lie, and cheat and steal...there used to be a saying in Texas..."the only thing worse than a child molester is a politican"

They say this while Sen. Teddy Kennedy is still at large (and getting larger)... Cunningham took bribes -- he didn't kill a girl at Chappaquiddick. To put it another way, the only thing Duke Cunningham ever sank was his own career. She's afraid to admit it, but she likes that bad boy from Massachusetts.

:thumb: ES, this time I agree with you 100%.

Just like the democrat party has been taken hostage by the radical left, the Once-Grand Old Party has fallen into the shaking hands of nervous little old ladies, more concerned with "what the neighbors will think" than with governing and protecting the country (e.i. borders).

I'm sick of them all. I want a party with the guts to smack liberals and their minions in the drive-by media upside the head, like they so richly deserve. I want a party that will thumb its nose at socialist Europe, and tell them to wipe up their mess before they opine on our affairs. I want a party that lets war be fought by the military, not by self-serving politicians. I want a party that will kick ALL illegals back to their own country, and will tell those governments "These losers are YOUR problem. Not ours."

I want a party with cojones, not "compassion".

I want to win the lottery, as well. :sulk: I know. I know.
