Gunmen kill two migrants on U.S.-Mexico border
Fri Mar 30, 2007 2:39pm EThttp://i.today.reuters.com/images/spacer.gif
PHOENIX (Reuters) - Unknown gunmen fired on a truck packed with suspected illegal immigrants in southern Arizona early on Friday, killing two people and wounding a third, police said.
The gunmen killed a man and a woman traveling in a pickup truck near Green Valley, some 30 miles south of Tucson, Pima County Sheriff's Department said.
Spokeswoman Dawn Barkman said the dead were believed to be Mexican immigrants traveling with three family groups from the poor southern Mexican state of Chiapas.
Barkman said two children were among at least 14 people packed into the extended-cab pickup truck.

Am I the only one here that thinks that things will only get more violent and that the author is completely off the mark on who did this. American citizens are starting to take matters into their own hands.

I don't think you're the only one. These "spooks" in the dark will get bolder and bolder, and the pandering politicians will be able to do nothing about it. Mexico might thank a little warning notice from North of the Border:
"Hey, pendejos! Stay in your country or you might meet the spooks."

And so it begins...now that blood has been shed, expect it to get a WHOLE lot worse before it gets any better.
And to think, all President Bush had to do to prevent this was defend (or shut down) the southern border and/or direct the Border Patrol to aggressively police the border.

The Americans firing at the illegal invaders will be the ones to feel the wrath of law enforcement ... the illegal alien invasion must be allowed to continue ...

We've been predicting this since the invasion of America began. The people in DC in charge of defending our borders sat on their asses and did nothing. Bush sucked up to Mexico to maintain the flow of oil into the US. And the RAT asswipes pandered to them in order to gain their votes.
When the government fails, vigilantism is called for and will occur. And when the Mexicriminals start dying, the word might spread south of the border that the free ride is over.

without a doubt! and the reason? well, the law is the law!
hmmmm....seems the law is the law only pertains to the actions of the Americans eh?
edit: and, of course, you will have to put up with the standard BS "you can't be taking the law into your own hands.....that's the responsibility of the appropriate law enforcement agency(s)!" Yeah....right!!

It was either a fed-up American [or a underground vigilante group that has formed], or it was rival Coyotes.
I suspect the latter.
I've got some serious doubts that a vigilant movement has really takenhold down there.
Of couse, if you're just one fed-up American, and you're really smart, sly and cagy, and if you had he right tools and a little inside knowledge, you could become your own "movement."
What's going to have to hapen down there in places like Cochise County, Arizona and other border counties, is that the ranchers and land owners are going to have to really go underground and start taking the law into their own hands and get control of the situation.
It should have started years ago with the ranchers when the first one got sued by an illegal who tripped over trash left behind by other illegals and broke his leg, and sued the rancher --and won.
I have never advocated for citizens to take the law into their own hands except in extreme cases, and let me tell you ladies and gentlemen, this illegal invasion is an extreme case.
The "government" will not protect the nation --from within or without, and citizens are just simply going to have to do it.
Enough illegals executed, cold blooded murder, will get a message across.
Sad, but I'm afraid it will come to that.
Our government --the elected officials we send to Washington, and the hired/employed toady federal employees simply have no interest in anything other than protecing their own gravy train, and to hell with the rest of us. They send a clear message, day in and day out, that they care not whit about the threat of Muslim terrorists who are out to destroy us, and they care not whit about the invasion of Mexican illegas whose only goal is to turn this nation into a suburb of Mexico City.
Sooner or later, the citizens will take matters into their own hands, and I fear that day is a lot closer than we know.

Nothing against that, but that is the feeling I hope remains with the LEO who pander to the illegals.

Absolutely. As long as law enforcemet doesn't get wind that what's happening might be a "movement" the longER the "movement" can operate --going on the unlikely assumption that there is a "movement."
I'm betting it's Coyotes peotecting their turf, or it's one lone, fed-up American who has had more than enough. Could be someone who's had their land violated, or a daughter or wife assaulted by an illegal.
And I'm sorry to tell you, because it's really against my nature to advocate for violence and indiscriminate killing, but if it's one lone man, or a "movement," I hope it gains some real traction and a message gets across to those thinking of crossing: CROSSING COULD GET YOU KILLED!!!

I am sad that Bush's border policy has cost these poor people their lives. I tend to think it was rival coyotes.

They were criminals illegally entering the US. The knew the risks and they took them. Tough shit.
"Poor people" may be true economically, but "poor people" as a sign of compassion for them is whiny-assed liberalism at its most cloying and repulsive.

Not according to the Chief Chicken Hawk, they are poor people coming to take jobs that Americans won't do.

Me for one! We have "true" migrant workers here in the RGV that are citizens and are law abiding. To lump these criminals in that same group is a slap in the face to those who are hard working and following the law.
