Slow news day, or evidence of irresponsible pet ownership?
(CBS4) OAKLAND PARK An Oakland Park homeowner is demanding that a group of mixed pit bull puppies be removed from a neighbor’s home after the dogs killed his cat.
The incident occurred Saturday afternoon on NE 39th Street and 8th Avenue. Anthony Dippolito could not find his pet cat “Bob”. After searching for the feline, Dippolito decided to check his home surveillance camera to see if he could spot the cat. Unfortunately, what who witnessed was a lot more gruesome.
“I found out at 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. That’s when the dogs came over here and tore my cat to pieces,” said a distraught Dippolito.
The dogs were able to escape from their yard after crawling through a hole at the bottom of a fence. More (http://cbs4.com/topstories/local_story_091231801.html)
