AMERICA LOVES HILLARY; TOP FUNDRAISER FOR ROUND ONE: $36 MILLION
Sun Apr 01 2007 13:28:02 ET
Total includes $26 million raised since Jan 20, $10 million transferred from successful senate reelection campaign
Hillary Clinton's campaign today announced it will report $36 million in total receipts for the first fundraising quarter, which ended March 31, 2007. The staggering number reflects the strength of support for Clinton from every walk of life and every part of America.
. . .
80 % of the contributions were $100 or less.Drudge (http://drudgereport.com/flash2.htm)
John Edwards' 100,000 "Coulter Dollars" look pretty pathetic in comparison.

I am severely worried about the election next year. What disturbs me is the staggering number of people I've talked to who say they would vote for Hillary simply to make history by having the first female president. This is what gets total buttwipes elected into office - uneducated voters who care less about the candidates' political views and more about the image. Many feminists have admitted they disagree with Hillary's viewpoints, but will vote for her simply because she is a) a liberal and b) a woman (which I have my serious doubts about this one.) Here is my favorite quote from a real gem of a discussion amongst feminists about Hillary:
Hillary would be a great president. She is considered to be one of the top 100 USA legal minds. All she has to do is stay away from scandal.
And another quote about Hillary being in office:
Hillary has a large network of feminist friends and workmates that would likely get called to Washington to begin some real change in the federal gov't.
I very much suspect that given the humanist nature of her interests and work since university, that the best of Hillary is being carefully concealed right now, and rightly so.
She is up against the ultimate old boys network.
She is much brighter and much more interested in social justice issues than what they've got now and when she can throw off the 'good little patriotic senator' act, we will possibly see one of the most enlightened presidents ever---and a woman!
And lets not forget her mate; he's getting too old to be whipping out his little buddy at inopportune times and other than that wee flaw he is quite the helpmeet.
They are a powerful and I think, enlightened pair.
Americans would be fortunate to have them at the Whitehouse again.
We have several american friends who are very liberal, who would rejoice to have them back.
And then there are those who say they will not be voting for her because she isn't *liberal enough*. Geez Louise! Just how big of a crybaby liberal must one be to consider Billary to be too "conservative"?! It's scary. Surveys conducted recently have already laid out that six in ten women have said they would vote for Hillary of which 85% are under the age of 30. 89% of libs support Hillary in the race. The majority of those who support her make an average of less than $20k a year. So, what does this all mean? That it's the granola eating college femi-nazis who probably don't even know who are vice president is that will vote for her. *shudders*

I don't love her, and neither am I afraid of her. She's another lie-beral, another demunist (thanks Sis!), another rat ready to infest. Just ANOTHER good reason for Fred Thompson to RUN!!!

Unlike my two younger sisters, homes and maggs, I am absolutely scared to death of the witch! I could live with Edwards, Obama or even Gore before I could Hitlery! I do believe that she represents a clear and present danger to this country! This has nothing to do with voting for a RINO next year, just that Hitlery herself is a real danger!!!!

Fred Thompson could wipe the floor with Hillary. She appeals to the looney left, and the looney left only. Most people polled are not voters :)

Well, hes already a billionare. But that wasn't his money. It was money he raised. The point was that Hillary's fundraising isn't quite the earth shattering event that her campaign is leading us to believe.
I like Romney, but Thompson is my man right now.Agreed.

There is some question as to whether Hillary really is a woman at all. . .
