Ayaan Hirsi Ali can’t leave her Washington D.C. home without guards.
............
There were many Germans and other Europeans who came to America and warned of the Nazi threat in the 1930s, including writers and filmmakers. Can you imagine that any of them would have ever needed bodyguards?
Hirsi Ali does — right here in America. Yet too many people still don’t understand what our country is up against. They might if they read her book.
Note: Her book is entitled, Infidel.

Fred would be an ideal GOP candidate. However, it's 100% certain that the RATs and their butt-kissing media lackeys will be obsesssed with destroying him, and as usual the Pubs won't lift a finger or say a word in his defense.

I'll have to get her book. It looks like it would be a great read.

Bingo... they'll support their lackey Rudi G. to appease the left...
The GOP is turning into a bunch of wusses...

I am really worried that he won't run. I wish he would say .... one way or the other.

However, it's 100% certain that the RATs and their butt-kissing media lackeys will be obsesssed with destroying him, and as usual the Pubs won't lift a finger or say a word in his defense.Somehow, Brother, I believe the Rat-Bastards wont be able to touch him... He has the Reagan chemistry... When he announces his candidacy, its gonna be so one-sided its gonna be comical...
I am really worried that he won't run. I wish he would say .... one way or the other.Fear not, sweetpea... He is going to run... He's only waiting to announce because he's p;aying SMART politics... The "front-runners" have declared wayyyyyy too early... They are wasting valuable campaign assets defending their positions before the primary season has even gotten started... And as such, they are targets of the media and their enemies wayyyy too early too...
Plus there is a much understated rsik that is rarely discussed in politics - and that is voter exhaustion... The more the public sees the petty fighting among the early "front-runners", the more tired they become of hearing their names... The public is going to be sick of hearing Hilary, Obama, McCain, Giuliani, etc., by the time the actual primary season starts...
The longer Thompson waits to announce, the longer he holds his critics at bay... How can his potential opponents attack someone who isnt in the race? - Kinda makes em look rather pathetic, dont it - Shooting in the dark at ghosts... Plus he builds anticipation, not exhaustion, over his name...
Thompson has already gained double digits while not even a candidate... Conservatives are piling on his campaign before he has ever announced - that's gotta be unnerving for his opponents...
As much as I long to see his name officially in the game, I understand that its smart for him to hold out a little longer... I expect us to hear an official announcement by Midsummer - early Fall by the latest...
And when he announces, I personally believe the whole race is over - He has what REAL America is craving... He has the Reagan spark... The Pub nomination is his for the taking... And so is the Whitehouse, IMO...

The situation is; The republicrats learned their lesson with Reagan. They will never allow a viable candidate, that is not a clone of their choice to rise to the top, no matter what.
I like Fred, he can't get the nomination. One of their liberal lackies like Bush will get it, probably Guillinany, or that guy from Kennedy Kerry land.

Remember, in 2000 George W. Bush was the conservative/anti-establishment candidate who ran against and defeated the establishment candidate, John McCain. Grassroots/religious conservatives rose up and smote the establishment then and will do so again in 2008 if Fred Thompson decides to run.

Ive pretty much given up on voting, well actually iv'e given up on this country's population. If Fred runs Ill support him but he will be swimming up stream. He will be ambushed on all sides and the media will lie as much as needed to destroy him.

I don't think so. People like Fred because he comes across as authentic -- and that's just what they liked about Reagan. When was the last guy we saw at the top levels whom we really did like? Not this Bush. Not his daddy. Not the guy between the two.
The last guy we really liked was Ronnie.
Thompson will be the next prez if he wants it.
