CRAWFORDSVILLE, Iowa, April 3 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) stepped up her criticism of President Bush's threat to veto legislation that sets a timetable for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, saying that doing so would thwart the will of the American people.

Clinton hedged, however, when asked whether she would support legislation sponsored by other Democratic senators, including Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.), aimed at cutting off funding for the war on March 31, 2008.

As she traveled through Iowa, Clinton said she had launched a petition drive through her campaign Web site calling on Bush not to veto legislation now pending in Congress that, for the first time, would establish deadlines for the U.S. involvement in Iraq. "Mr. President," she said, "don't veto the will of the American people."

Clinton took a sharp line against the administration in the current standoff over Iraq policy, accusing the president and Vice President Cheney of questioning the patriotism of Americans who call for an end to the U.S. involvement there.Clinton Decries Veto Threat, Urges Bush Compromise on Iraq (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/04/03/AR2007040301611_pf.html)

She's a typical liberal PoS. She hates Bush so much that she wants America to go down in defeat in order to use it against him.

A severe bitchslapping is in order for the contemptible harridan.

And like John Kerry (who was in Vietnam), she conveniently forgets that last year and the year before she was declaring that Bush didnt have enough troops in the field to do the job - was promoting a troop increase - A surge, so to speak...

And im shocked, shocked!, that the MSM has not reminded her and the public repeatedly of this obvious and blantly political flip-flop... tsk tsk...

When she's convinced that Bush gets it right, she does everything in her power to get it wrong.

She just doesn't want an uncouth war to cloud her first term. Its like a rich bitch from Bel Air telling the manservants to trim the hedges. She doesn't want to sully herself with the task. So, she (& the rest of the democrats) want Bush to fix it and make it all better so that they can be perceived as the party of no conflict, rest and eternal peace when they assume power. Billy Jeff was the same way. Do not confront your enemy, but rather give them missile tech(China) and meaningless agreements(North Korea). Then smile and blow the sax, puff a Cuban while teeing off at Pebble Beach and hump interns in the mouth. You see, being President means not having to lead. To a democrat the office is about having fun and having power merely to have it. It has nothing to do with America.

They didn't give them the missle tech. They made them pay $600,000 for it. A fair price any time you need a campaign contribution.

When caught in the act of selling classifed info to the Chinese, an act of treason, Clinton reluctantly had the money returned, but China already had the data, so, in effect, it was given to them. This type of data had always been handled by the Defence Department, but Clinton had the responsibility moved to the Commerce department under Ron Brown. Then Ron Brown, who brokered the exchange, died mysteriously in an airplane accident in Albania with a .45 caliber hole in his head. No witnesses.

My understanding was that the responsibility was shifted the Dept of Energy, where Hazel what's-her-face declassified so much that US companies were able to deal even the most sensitive of secrets.

Just good old hard core, Randy Ayn capitalism, don'tcha know.

Hazel what's-her-face I believe her last name is O'Leary. Just remember the name of the woman whose cow allegedly started the Chicago Fire.

Yeah, that's the one. Remembering her name is sorta painful since I got some Irish blood. Or maybe it's Irish piss.

'Sides, Hazel musta been the single stupidest bureaucrat ever to work for the govt in a cabinet-level post.

"Mr. President," she said, "don't veto the will of the American people."

That's hardly the will of the American people. She should do a bit of research.

The more she mentions the Iraq War, the more her poll numbers go down the toilet.

So keep on bitching, Madame Mao.

The nineties, however, were quite different. The Department of State and the Pentagon approached the GAO in 1995 with a request to study the Commerce Department approval of dual use technology sales to China. The GAO report concluded that Ron Brown had more or less opened the door to everything but the kitchen sink. Secretary Brown's Far East commerce trips corresponded with each new batch of approvals for dual use, advanced US technology. The assertions by Mr. Brown that the US products would be monitored behind the bamboo curtain were simply pipe dreams since the Chinese would not allow such follow ups. This report is available on the Internet at the GAO web site.

In late February, 1996, the Chinese Warlords were finally able to buy their way into the White House when Wang Jun entered for a coffee with President Clinton. Wang would donate $690,000 to the Democratic National Committee in a quiet effort to reward those who have helped China. Wang, a son of the ruling class in China, had far more than a few checks in his pocket. Wang has also been accused of attempting to smuggle 2,000 fully automatic AK-47s to Florida drug gangs. Wang Jun's history as an arms dealer is world renowned. It was Wang who set up the original delicate deal with Russia to buy the SA-10 Grumble. Wang was among a host of other unsavory characters to pass through the White House and leave a check. Wang's credentials as a dealer in billion dollar weapontry were well established long before 1996.

Today, President Clinton says he knew nothing of all this.
