WASHINGTON (April 20) - Imported ingredients used in recalled pet food may have been intentionally spiked with an industrial chemical to boost their apparent protein content, federal officials said Thursday.

When this Pet Food crap first began I tossed all commercial dog food right into the garbage.

I boil up one whole chicken a week and remove all the bones.

Every morning I cook up 3 cups of rice and mix in the boiled chicken/broth.

My Ridgeback loves this meal and I'm saving a lot of money what with not buying commercial dog food anymore.

Oh yeah.....The pooch gets a vitamin supplement every day with her meal too. :D:D:D

I don't have any chickens around here, but we do have a local PETA group nearby.

I could cook the PETA with cabbage to help hide the smell.:evilgrin:
