Only once. A Mig 17 "red bull" using afterburner at the 2005 Air an Sea Show. The burner trail and other wing pyro's he used were incredible.

I saw a guy do it in a Decathlon once. It was really cool. The only problem is you have to have a special airshow box approved by the FAA and NOTAMS have to be issued. That's a lot more complicated than simply flying in an approved aerobatic box.

I flew a Super Decathlon once. It was so easy to fly it was silly. No guts on my part to get wild though. The pilot did enough of that.

I flew in an RF-4C once. We didn't do much in the way of aerobatics, but we made a low level reconnaissance run at high speed. That was way cool! Way more fun that the RC-135 I flew on for many years.

Now thats a flight. Did you know the Collins Foudation has a F4 and will take you up for around 9000. They also now have a A4 skyhawk ride for 6800. My wife gave me flights in the B17 and B24 for my 38th and 39th birthday.
Ive been in a Talon once which was incredible, and I have a friend who owns a L39 which I get a back seat ride in every now and then. While they're both great planes, and I'm lucky to have flown in them, they dont come close to the F4.
One day I'll save up enough for the Collins F4 or the A4. Both would be a great ride.

My F-4 flight was free. I was Airman of the Year for the Wing. Had a free flight on a B-17 too, because I'm in the organization that supports some of their visits. I'd love to fly in an A-4 or L39.

Note to liberals:
Don't be fooled, the pic is a fake. The shadow from Doc's saucer is directly below it while the shadows from the trees in the background are to their left.

Or it could be swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

The shadow from Doc's saucer is directly below it while the shadows from the trees in the background are to their left. That's a reflection of the dark bottom surface. So there.

Edgar: You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.
Bug: Your proposal is acceptable.
