TALLAHASSEE -- Debate over a bill to revamp Florida's subsidized health insurance program for children flared Wednesday over whether it should be available to the children of illegal immigrants.
Overwhelmingly - and somewhat surprisingly - the House answered yes, it should.
While a large number in the Republican-dominated House say they don't favor providing government services for undocumented immigrants, many said children shouldn't have to answer for their parents' crime of coming to the United States illegally.
The House voted 98-14 for a broad overhaul of the children's health care program, called KidCare, that could open the door for the coverage of the children of illegal immigrants.
.....
"I do not care if they're legals or illegals, they need to all be taken care of," Rep. Rene Garcia, R-Miami, said.
I love how easy it is for these douchecakes to nonchalantly say "they need to all be taken care of" when speaking of other peoples' money. Why not "take care of them all" yourself a-hole? Because I frankly don't think they need to be taken care of by me. It's not my responsibility to take care of them. It's their parents responsibility. And if their parents are willing to put their children in harm's way in the process of commiting a crime, they should be imprisoned for child endangerment and then deported, and their children "taken care of" by permanently turning them over to the state (after all it will be the taxpayers funding their education and healthcare either way).
But their parents, conartist leeching criminals that they are, know full well all they have to do is get here and bleeding heart asshats like this will be falling all over themselves to give them someone else's money.
Both criminals and politicians who have a love for reaching into the pockets of others should see a short drop and a sudden stop.
