Climate change hits Mars (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1720024.ece)

Mars is being hit by rapid climate change and it is happening so fast that the red planet could lose its southern ice cap, writes Jonathan Leake.

Scientists from Nasa say that Mars has warmed by about 0.5C since the 1970s. This is similar to the warming experienced on Earth over approximately the same period.

It's gotta be all those SUV's and folks all over Mars refusing to be "GREEN". What? Huh? Oh yea there aint no folks on Mars ---------- Hmmmmm, Does that mean that GLobal Warming (Mars version) might be caused by the Sun? You think maybe that would apply to Global Warming on Earth too?

Mars didn't sign the Kyoto Protocol. This serves it right!

Maybe the sun is due to go nova. And I thought we had at least another 5 billion years. Everybody, RUN!

In the event of a nova, go to the cellar until the danger passes. In school, children should hide under their desks.

Does this mean there will eventually be no water on Mars?

It's a NASA (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap050401.html) photo. The Rovers did NOT take that one. However ...
