She's corrupt and needs to resign. The Dems say that the GOP is the party of corruption, they need to look in a mirror.

Feinstein's Cardinal Shenanigans
The Hill
April 30, 2007
Anyone who knows much about real power in Congress knows that almost every member of the House and Senate lusts after a seat on the Appropriations Committee and hopes one day to achieve the status of Cardinal. The Cardinals, of course, are the folks who chair the various Appropriations Committee subcommittees and literally control the billions of dollars that pass through their hands.

California Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D) chairs the Senate Rules Committee, but shes also a Cardinal. She is currently chairwoman of the Interior, Environment and Related Agencies subcommittee, but until last year was for six years the top Democrat on the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies (or Milcon) sub-committee, where she may have directed more than $1 billion to companies controlled by her husband.

If the inferences finally coming out about what she did while on Milcon prove true, she may be on the way to morphing from a respected senior Democrat into another poster child for congressional corruption.

The problems stem from her subcommittee activities from 2001 to late 2005, when she quit. During that period the public record suggests she knowingly took part in decisions that eventually put millions of dollars into her husbands pocketthe classic conflict of interest that exploited her position and power to channel money to her husbands companies.

In other words, it appears Sen. Feinstein was up to her ears in the same sort of shenanigans that landed California Rep. Randy Duke Cunningham (R) in the slammer. Indeed, it may be that the primary difference between the two is basically that Cunningham was a minor leaguer and a lot dumber than his states senior senator.

Melanie Sloan, the executive director of Citizens for Responsible Ethics in Washington, or CREW, usually focuses on the ethical lapses of Republicans and conservatives, but even she is appalled at the way Sen. Feinstein has abused her position. Sloan told a California reporter earlier this month that whilethere are a number of members of Congress with conflicts of interest because of the amount of money involved, Feinsteins conflict of interest is an order of magnitude greater than those conflicts.

There are few RATs that do NOT need to go. Almost without exceptions they are corrupt, self-serving, dictatorial and bloody well treasonous. If the asswipe sheeple put a RAT in the WH in 2008, America will die.

You are correct yet again, Doc.

She is a corruption. She should have resigned from politics back when she was a gun grabbing mayor of San Freaksicko. If it were not for the big money corrupt democrat party and their MSM/Hollywood donors they would took a beating in past elections and Duncan Hunter could be a Senator right now. No one bothers to stand up strong against her because they are afraid of spending all of the GOPs money and losing.

California Democrat party year after year receives big money from the indian casino's as kickbacks. This is a known thing like in the case with Gray ass Davis and Cruz Busta-Mecha with their Casino money.

Damn it makes me feel good when someone like Fred Thompson comes to Reagan country. Almost makes it feel like were in the 1980s again.

If she does resign somehow she will likely be replaced by one of the openly GAY congressmen of California or some other rat full of dirty money funding.

I thought DiFi filled Cranston (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Cranston)'s seat. Cranston was one of the most corrupt members of the U.S. Senate. He was one of the Keating 5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keating_Five)--and the only one to get reprimanded (mainly because he was in poor health and on the way out anyway). According to Wikipedia, however, that epitome of virtue, Barbara Boxer, filled his seat, while DiFi was elected at the same time, but in a special election to fill Pete Wilson's seat, since he had to resign to become governor of California.

Remember the question in the Republican debate? Basically why are the Republicans so corrupt? Can we say, "the pot calling the kettle black?" I have been voting against Di Fi, Boxer, and before them, Cranston but we keep getting the same old crap for Senators out here.

I wonder what a massive influx of Conservative immigrants would do to the complexion of a nation like France... Wouldn't that be a fascinating study?... :smirky:
