LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Some 200,000 flag-waving, sign-carrying protesters marched in cities across the United States on Tuesday in orchestrated rallies intended to demonstrate the political might of Latinos and win amnesty for illegal immigrants.

But the May Day demonstrations failed to live up to the promise of last year, when some 500,000 people poured into the streets of Los Angeles and Chicago in marches that were hailed as the start of a new American civil rights movement.

Organizers blamed the lower turnouts in part on the failure of Spanish-language media to galvanize young people. Experts said immigrants and their leaders felt less urgency since a tough reform bill from last year was no longer before Congress.May Day--communist Labor Day.

My cousin is an ironworker in Atlanta and he's one of only three American citizens on his crew. He said that there wasn't a soul on the job site yesterday so they sent everyone home. My husband worked in a brake factory last year when they had their "let's all ditch work" day, and he said there were over two hundred people who laid out and then came in the next week and used those days as vacation days. Because the HR woman was a Mexican, she approved it. Great. Get paid for your slacking. Get paid so you can hit the streets with your anti-America protests.

Welfare bums, "legal" and illegal, can go out in the streets and protest anytime. And by golly, come the first of the month and taxpayers will have hell to pay if the bums don't receive their contributions from us. It's time to topple the welfare bureaucracy, I'd say. Long overdue.

Che Gueverra is the equivalent of Castro, Stalin, Chavez in ideology. Obviously he was a little more stupid than they because he didn't make it to the big chair. The fact that he was stupid must be a draw on the pathetic masses that look to his legacy.
