BELGRADE, SERBIA — Hundreds of former militiamen from the Balkan wars regrouped outside a church in central Serbia on Saturday, promising to fight together as a paramilitary unit once more if Kosovo breaks away from the government in Belgrade.

Authorities detained 27 people, all wearing T-shirts with symbols of the disbanded Unit for Special Operations. The former commander and several members of the unit are on trial for the 2003 assassination of Serbia's reformist Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.

"We will never give up Kosovo. We are ready to fight," said one of the organizers, Andrej Milic.

Milic added that their unit would be available to the government if Serbia went to war, and called for a "new Serb uprising and a new battle for Kosovo."

As someone who is partially of Serbian background, and I can honestly tell you that the Serbs are some of the most hot headed and confrontational people you will meet. They need to shut up and stop trying to incite war in that area. God knows we've seen enough of it. I should say though I don't think Kosovo should become an independent state. That is Serb land.

And these same people Lantos wants to help in the purge of Christians in Kosovo are the very ones who wanted to launch a terror raid to kill as many American soldiers as possible in Ft. Dix.

I agree that the Serbs have to stop trying to incite war, but I disagree with you on whether Kosovo should become independent. I believe in self-determination. If a referendum results in a "yes" to stay in Serbia, Kosovo should stay in Serbia. If it results in a "no", Kosovo should be allowed to be independent.

I believe I remember hearing about a survey done a year ago in which it was revealed that 70 percent of the babies born in Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas were grunted out by illegal aliens. Sounds like "overrun" is perfectly applicable.

I showed this article to my supervisor, who is from Bosnia. He escaped Bosnia on the last plane out during the last war. Although he didn't say it, I can tell by his body language that he isn't to crazy about Serbs!

Sure I agree that he overstated that severely, but surely you cannot deny that the Mexicans border charge is a real problem and eventually they are going to overrun Texas if no one stops them.
