University of Colorado President Recommends Firing Ward Churchill

Tuesday, May 29, 2007

DENVER — The president of the University of Colorado has recommended that a professor who likened some Sept. 11 victims to a Nazi should be fired, according to the professor and the school.

Ward Churchill, a tenured professor of ethnic studies, has denied the allegations and threatened a lawsuit if he is dismissed.

CU President Hank Brown made the recommendation in a 10-page letter sent to the chair of the committee that handles tenure issues. University spokeswoman Michele McKinney confirmed published reports about the recommendation Monday but said the school would not make the letter public.....http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,275999,00.html

Don't bother firing that asshole. Just shoot him. It's what he deserves.

I see the charade is still alive that Churchill is a professor. He isn't. He has some sort of Master's degree, but a true professor has a Ph.D.

What's the rush?

Sheesh. I know the wheels of justice grind slowly, but compared with the wheels of ousting incompetent professors, they spin like tassels on an exotic dancer.

CU President Hank Brown was on Glenn Beck's show (on CNN) tonight, I saw the exchange. I couldn't tell much from his demeanor -- probably because he was trying to watch his P's and Q's as to not give anything to Churchill's legal team (for the inevitable lawsuit once he is canned).

I was impressed by one thing though, he stressed that after much research they have plenty of proof of firable offenses OTHER THAN that of him excercising his "freedom of speech" and them discriminating against him because of it. Lots of proof of plagiarism, faulty research, falsified information, etc.

I sure hope they are finally able to accomplish getting rid of that piece of trash.
