DAVENPORT, Iowa - A woman's fall in a puddle of vomit has resulted in a lawsuit against Wal-Mart. June Medema, slipped in the vomit at a Davenport Wal-Mart on June 13, 2005, according to the lawsuit, filed by Medema and her husband, James, in Scott County District Court earlier this month.

I wonder if this will be a jury trial? I would hate to be on the jury. I can just imagine the details on color and consistency ... slipperiness, temperature to determine "freshness", did she land in it? Was it on her clothing?

I don't know if I could handle days of that. It would be a good diet plan for sure. :lol:

Brilliant bumpkin! Wal-Mart's negligence? How bout the moron who blew chunks on the floor and didn't notify anybody about it. My guess is that it was an illegal... really!

They do that kind of crap down here in the RGV all the time; just leave it for somebody else. I watched as this out of control mexican kid dropped a carton of eggs on the floor of a Wal-Mart and the parents were gonna leave it. Of course they didn't habla so I grabbed a CSM who could barely habla to take care of it before another person who also didn't habla would slip on it and sue them to acquire the American dream!
