The Republican National Committee, hit by a grass-roots donors' rebellion over President Bush's immigration policy, has fired all 65 of its telephone solicitors, Ralph Z. Hallow will report Friday in The Washington Times.

There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens.

"Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

GWB isnt gonna change his policy on immigration, he is too damn stubborn and stupid.

The party needs to back away from bush and oppose him and distance itself far away from him to the point GWB is no longer a conservative or loyal republican.

This will shed better light on the GOP and we can win the whitehouse back otherwise the public will only think of "GWB & Amnesty" when they decide whether to vote Republican or sit the election out.

Hopefully the party will figure this out before they go bankrupt.

I hang up on ALL solicitors. Had one call from RNC or somebody and I told them not to call anymore. The voice turned all sincere and ast why. I said I lost my job, my wife ran off with the mailman, my house burned down and my dawg died and as soon as I finished talking with him I's going to hang myself. He got all panicky just as I lost it and burst out laughing and hung up.

On a more serious note, I won't hang up on 'em. I'll let them know exactly why the RNC will not receive one red cent from me. The reason being, I don't donate to liberal causes...or to political parties that sell out our country to the highest (or the lowest) bidder...or, most importantly, to those who will not secure our borders. And then tell them, "and that's just for starters. You got a few hours to disuss my disgust?"

I never thought about that before. Maybe that will help him rebuild his legacy with his liberal constituants. He can claim some sort of victimhood, then he'll fend off criticism by saying he was afflicted with the disease of Alcoholism. "It's not my fault."

Y'all forget that Bush is an alcoholic....I never thought about that before.And for good reason, since he isn't one. I disagree with many of his policies, and some downright infuriate me, but deliberate untruthful slander is a poor excuse for expressing opposition to policies or political stances.
