Does anyone know of some good places (also cheap) to fish in Minnesota? I love pike fishing but am looking for somewhere with muskie.
I usually go to canada but my buddy doesn't have a passport. It is too much risk to hope he gets a new one by the time we would be heading off.
Due to my massive truck and insurance payments I am limited to $100/day for camping fees and boat rental. I have also been looking for places to camp on an island. So far I haven't found anyplace in Minnesota that allows it. It might be some DNR rule because most places in canada allow it.
I have spent several hours online trying to find a place that fits those requirements, so far no luck. Just throwing a preserver out there in case any of you have an inside scoop.
