What a wonderful blessing to your family!
And since you shared such a wonderfully inspiring poem in another thread, I'll offer one back (that has brought me great joy in thinking of my own children) ...
My day old child
Author: Carol Lynn Pearson
My day old child in my arms
with my lips against his ear
I whispered strongly "How I wish,
I wish that you could hear,
"I've a hundred wonderful things to say
(A tiny cough and nod)
Hurry, hurry, hurry and grow
so I can tell you about God."
My day old baby's mouth was still
and my words only tickled his ear,
but a kind of light passed through his eyes,
and I saw this thought appear,
"How I wish I had a voice and words,
I've a hundred things to say,
Before I forget, I'd tell you of God,
I left Him yesterday."

Awwww what a cutie pie.
Great news to hear. Make sure you spend lots of time with the little fella, you're a parent, you know how fast they grow up. Take lots of pictures like Unk said too.
Nice looking little fella too.

I hear you, M.C., but unfortunately he lives over 400 miles away. I shed some tears this morning as I told him good-bye! :crying:
Thanks for everyone's kind comments--
