Swedish Scientist Accuses UN's IPCC of Falsifying Data and Destroying Evidence

<!-- start main content --><!-- begin content --><SMALL>Posted by Noel Sheppard (http://newsbusters.org/node/user/26) on June 24, 2007 - 19:45.</SMALL>

EXCERPT:

If you listen to the global warming alarmists working for the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or folks like soon-to-be-Dr. Al Gore, sea levels across the globe are rising at a rate that will eventually doom us all.

According to Swedish paleogeophysicist Nils-Axel Mörner (http://www.sasnet.lu.se/palgeosth.html), who’s been studying and writing about sea levels for four decades, the scientists working for the IPCC have falsified data and destroyed evidence to incorrectly prove their point.

Mörner was recently interviewed (http://www.larouchepub.com/eiw/public/2007/2007_20-29/2007-25/pdf/33-37_725.pdf) by Gregory Murphy of Executive Intelligence Review, and began by making it clear that the sea level claims made by the IPCC are a lot of nonsense (emphasis added throughout, h/t Eduardo Ferreyra):

I wish Markus was here to tell us that he concedes.

:roar:

The lies are being exposed and the shallowness of the people spreading them are evident.

I notice that Alarmist moonbats have been very quiet these days in this subforum.

Unfortunately, outside of websiters like NewsBuster and boards like this, Dr. Mörner will never be heard or read. AlBore and his First Gaian Church of Junk Science will not allow opposing views to be presented. After all, balance is impermissible. From the barking moonbats at FAIR:

A new study has found that when it comes to U.S. media coverage of global warming, superficial balance—telling "both" sides of the story—can actually be a form of informational bias. Despite the consistent assertions of the United Nations-sponsored Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that human activities have had a "discernible" influence on the global climate and that global warming is a serious problem that must be addressed immediately, "he said/she said" reporting has allowed a small group of global warming skeptics to have their views greatly amplified.Journalistic Balance as Global Warming Bias (http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=1978)

The chutzpah of those mumbling, sputum-drooling morons is mind-boggling. However, that's the Gorebull Warming mindset: "The 'consistent assertions' of the IPCC must prevail. Our minds are made up. The facts will only confuse us."

He is prominently posted at Global Warming Skeptic forum.

I have also been posting a lot of information about the Weather reporting station AUDITING effort by Anthony Watt.

Markus must be weeping these days.

That's an outstanding contribution, sunsettommy. I don't know about the rest of youse, but I download these kinds of knockout-punch articles and keep them in a 3-ring binder. When I get enough of them I'll reformat them into a not-for-sale book, write my own foreword and have it bound at an office supply store (actually have several made -- it only costs a few bucks per copy). Staples does both perfect binding (like any other book) and ring binding.

The purpose of all this is that I can hand my granddaughter a bona fide book to use when she wants to refute bullshit from school. It not only looks more authoritative, but it's easier to get your hands on when you want to cite something and you get to know the material better from thumbing thru it.

You can't sell the book because it has copyrighted material from other sources, but you can dang sure use it.
