A command sergeant with the 411th Engineer Brigade ... was convicted this week of possessing alcohol and pornography, engaging in inappropriate relationships with two junior soldiers in the unit and mistreating a soldier who was subject to his orders.

Command Sgt. Maj. Edward Ramsdell was found guilty following a three day trial. ...

Ramsdell ... was sentenced to four months in confinement and reduced in grade from E-9, the highest enlisted grade down to E-4, removing him from the non-commissioned officer corps.

Ramsdell was convicted of violating General Order No. 1 by possessing a large quantity of alcohol and pornography in his quarters at LSA Anaconda and having intimate relationships with two junior noncommissioned officers in his unit. When the contraband was discovered, Ramsdell tried to hide evidence of his misconduct and later ran from Criminal Investigation Command special agents while they were processing him.

Wow...I think this guy qualifies as a pinhead...pissed away his ENTIRE career, and for what?

Unbelieveable...I'm just glad justice prevailed.

He's a reservist, so the impact on his retirement pay won't be that bad compared to if he was career active duty.

I bet he was found out after the girls (assuming they were both female) found out about each other and got jealous.
