No GPS chips

I just saw an ad on television for a company calling itself "Wireless Redemption". They are offering up to $43 dollars for old phones that must be more than four years old. Who, or what, would have a need for so many un-chipped phones? Hmmm?

Anybody with engineering training in electricity and communications can build such a phone. If it's wireless, all they have to worry about is triangulation.
