Nowhere does the guy identify who the hell he is. Weird.

Same guy who wrote the essay on Glaciation, I guess.

He should write about the "landfills being full" myth from the late 1980s. Talk about a hoax.

He didn't need to "identify" himself. I clicked a few of the links, and he spoke of some of the things he does, and did. When he spoke of his time working with the Grateful Dead, I guessed who it was.

His name is Owsley Stanley, or as the guys in the band called him "Bear". He was the Grateful Dead's sound man, responsible for a large amount of the "unauthorized" bootleg tapes of the Dead's many jam sessions that are still in circulation today. He was also the band's main supplier of LSD during the 60's and 70's.

He didn't need to "identify" himself.Yes, he did. Not all of us ever cared about that group. Me, for one. I never knew who the Grateful Dead performers were until Jerry Garcia croaked and the media went mindless over it. To this day I'm not familiar with a single song of theirs. This is the first I've ever heard of this dude.
