You know, if I had a dog that size, I don't think I'd be leaving loaded guns lying around on endtables.

Funny. I was thinking that maybe the BIG dog was the Reason for the loaded gun. The girlfriend mentioned that she feared for what the wounded owner might do to the pup, after he recuperates. (Kidding)

It does seem pretty stupid to leave a loaded weapon out on an end table, even if you live alone. But who knows?

Makes perfect sense to me. That's a high crime area.

I prefer to leave loaded Garlic Grenades and Garlic Mines around my place. They sometimes cause a stink, but seldom one that requires medical attention.

Man bites dog, dog shoots man. Gotta lead with that.

Did the dog lick the man's wound? That'd make for a real touching story.

On my nightstand, beside my bed, is a loaded revolver - cocked. All I have to do is pull the trigger. If anyone comes in, they have taken their last breath. I don't believe in using "stop or I'll shoot" as a deterrent.

"Guns don't kill people . . ."

(OK, so the guy isn't dead . . . yet.)
