Rep. Nancy Boyda (D-KS) walked out of a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee because she couldn't stand to listen to what retired General Jack Keane, former vice chief of staff of the Army, was saying.
"There is only so much you can take until we in fact had to leave the room for a while...after so much frustration of having to listen to what we listened to," Ms. Boyda explained to reporters later.
What did Gen. Keane say to so upset Ms. Boyda? He'd visited contested neighborhoods in Baghdad in February, and again three months later:
"What you see is a stark contrast. All the schools are open. The markets are teeming with people...There is an attempt to provide essential services to the population where in '06 there were none."
"Those kinds of comments will in fact show up in the media and further divide this country instead of saying, here's the reality of the problem," Rep. Boyda said. "And people, we have to come together and deal with the reality of this issue."
It is difficult to say which is the more remarkable: that Ms. Boyda, whose military experience is zero, imagines she knows "the reality of this issue" better than does Gen. Keane; or that she is appalled by good news from Iraq.

Rush has those assholes pegged: the RATs are invested in defeat. They own defeat. They are desperate for a repeat of the sellout that they engineered in Vietnam and the milllions who died when our troops left the South Viets at the mercy of the commies. They want a defeat in Iraq and f**k the millions of Iraqis who would die if they get their way again.
But their major motivation of those treasonous pieces of shit is that a win in Iraq would be a feather in Bush's cap. They would rather see us lose to terrorists than to allow that. They will give aid, comfort and material support to America's enemies in their psychotic loathing of Bush. Fonda was a patriot compared to those monsters.
The DemocRAT party has become a clear and present danger to America. The RAT traitors should be taken out of power by any means necessary by those who are sworn to protect this country.
We cannot allow the United States of America to be governed by hatred-obsessed thugs who would destroy it in their insane lust for vengeance against President Bush.

She will be a one term wonder! I wonder what her husband, a Marine Corps veteran thinks of his wife's actions? Anywho, her district, the 2nd Congressional is a predominantly (R) district and her opponent Jim Ryun had soundly beaten her in 2004(59% to 39%). It looks like she was swept in during the 2006 debockle winning (51% - 47%) and she will be swept back out in 2008. Keep chirping, you 'Rat hag, your time is short!!! Book it! Prediction in '08 GOP pickup!

They will give aid, comfort and material support to America's enemies in their psychotic loathing of Bush. Fonda was a patriot compared to those monsters...I dont think I could put it any better than that, Doc... Everyday I think the Democrats and the Leftists have reached their saturation level of shameless power lust and treason against this country - But then they suprise me and dig down to a new low...
This is why I firmly believe that the next time they gain control of the Whitehouse and (God forbid) Congress, they will not hesitate to simply suspend the Constitution and invoke their Marxist revolution...
I dont believe it will be a sudden violent one like the creation of the Soviet Union... They will use the enormous power of the Cabinet Departments and all their alphabet soup agencies to start collecting up guns and grabbing private land under the authority our Congress and Presidents have vested those unelected agencies with over the last 50 years...
The 8 years of Bill Clinton was a trial run of the power of those agencies - EPA, Interior Dept, OSHA, ATF, DEA, FBI, IRS, FEMA... Up until now they have been testing the system and building up their courage to strike... I have never before seen such blatant hostility from the Left towards the America we grew up in... Now that they understand fully how much power they have, this next time they eat us alive...
Im warning all my friends here - DO NOT wait to see how the general election plays out in '08... Start thinking NOW, TODAY, about how you will survive this coming incarceration of America... And start putting a plan into action...
Winter is coming, my friends...

I've long stated that I believe that anyone who runs for president should have done at least one 4 year hitch in the military. After all, how can one effectively be commander-in-chief when they have no clue as to how the military actually works?
Having said that, I'm starting to lean in the direction of ALL elected officials be required to have some military time. Ms. Boyda obviously has no clue. We didn't learn from Korea or Vietnam. Scary thing is, if we keep trying to fight wars with politics, we are about to go on a long losing streak until we stop. Ms. Boyda needs to let the military do its job!

 Miss Boyda is a vacuous harpy with a closed mind. It would really be nice if our elected officials had a willingness to listen to facts & reason.

Point taken, Laz. Still, I stand by what I said.

I fear, however, that it is beyond their ability to grasp - You're simply asking for more than their blacked out, power-hungry minds can handle...
