Well, we kicked off the Booster Club (for the girls weightlifting team of which my daughter is a member), and our first official fundraiser is next Thursday August 16. Some time this week I will be going with the Club VP to open the club's bank account. Unfortunately, we did not get the turnout we were expecting for the first meeting, so I'm having to wear two hats -- Secretary/Treasurer, and my Bubba is the President. I absolutely LOATHE having to deal with the money, but that's life.

What I would like to do is keep really good records on my computer. SO, I've said all that to ask this ... does anyone know of a good club management software, or small business management software or something like it, preferably free (we have no money in the club yet, until after the fundraisers, and I hate to spend club money for expensive software) or really, really inexpensive?

I have Microsoft Money on my computer, but it seems to be for a household account, and I guess I could try to adapt it, but it's rather confusing to use (at least to me), much less if I tried to modify it for club use, LOL.

Any suggestions would be welcome http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/icon7.gif

This might sound antique, but I suggest everything be done with pen and paper, and calculator if necessary. One crash of the computer without back-up to cd could wipe out all the accounting. Then, any good spreadsheet program can be used for transfer of the hard copy during some spare time.:thumb:
