U.S. Border Patrol Agent Shoots, Kills Suspected Human Smuggler
Friday, August 10, 2007

EL PASO, Texas — A Border Patrol agent shot and killed a suspected smuggler at a fence that separates the U.S. and Mexico after the agent felt threatened by the man, authorities said Thursday.

Mexico criticized what it described as an "excessive use of force" against immigrants and demanded an investigation.

Jose Alejandro Ortiz Castillo, a 23-year-old man who had been caught crossing the border 28 times since 1999, died in Mexico shortly after the Wednesday night shooting, Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said.

An unidentified agent spotted Ortiz apparently leading two men and a woman through a hole in the border fence just east of downtown El Paso. Ortiz, who was carrying bolt cutters, picked up a rock as the agent was arresting the woman, Mosier said....http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,292818,00.html

"The Mexican government demanded in a statement that "all the weight of the law be brought to bear against the person or persons responsible."
"The Mexican government expresses a firm protest against the use of lethal weapons in the face of situations that do not represent a proportionate risk," the Foreign Relations Department said.
Ortiz had been deported from the U.S. in 2004, Mosier said."--From link--

Ah yes, the BP agent is deffinately guilty. S/HE should have had her/his own "agency issued" bolt cutters and "like sized rocks"

"Jesus Castillo, 43, Ortiz's brother, initially acknowledged that his brother had worked as an immigrant smuggler. But after speaking to investigators, he said his brother worked in construction and occasionally crossed the border to look for work in El Paso."

Yepers, deported in '04, and he still operated as a 'coyote' and "occasionally crossed (snuck) across the border to "look for work."--Looks like a career criminal to me. At least this one can't be given immunity to testify and free US medical care.

"Mexico criticized what it described as an "excessive use of force" against immigrants and demanded an investigation."-- from the article--

Who the f**k are they to "demand an investigation" when they can't even provide a decent place for their people to live? Do they even understand why their people are risking their lives?

"Jose Alejandro Ortiz Castillo, a 23-year-old man who had been caught crossing the border 28 times since 1999, died in Mexico shortly after the Wednesday night shooting, Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said."--from the article--

Caught crossing the border 28 times since 1999. Deported in 2004. Does this show how secure our southern border is? Does this show how lax our immigration laws are. And yet our proposed fix is to grant Amnesty? Kiss my AMERICAN BORN ASS!

Our response to the friggin mex government, (lower case intended because they are nothing but a Marxist, corrupt band of criminals themselves,) would be to demand payment for the cost of the rounds expended to eliminate the threat of the "CRIMINAL" violating our border. Then I would expell their ambassador untill THEY fix THEIR problem within their own borders.

EL' SHRUB better jump on this like "stink-on-shit."

NO FKUCING MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so says Pete!

The Mexican government officials who are squaking about this are DAMNED lucky I'M not President because my response would be:
"We're done playin'. YOU'VE got EXACTLY 6 months to stem the tide of illegal immigration to the United States. If you don't, you will hear 3 very loud noises outside Mexico City. These noises will be the detonation of 3 Daisy Cutters. From that day, you will have ONE week to stem the tide or the NEXT 3 noises you'll experience will be 3 MOABs being detonated IN Mexico City.

Now, sit down, STFU, and get with the program Julio..."
And then, make good on it. If the Mexican authorities ask, "Is that a threat?", the response would be, "No, it's a promise...I don't make threats."
