Cindy Sheehan announces candidacy for House against Pelosi

(8/10/07 - SAN FRANCISCO, CA) - A tearful Cindy Sheehan cited her son, killed in Iraq, as her inspiration as she announced her candidacy Thursday for the U.S. House against Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

Sheehan last month said she intended to run against Pelosi, the House speaker, if the San Francisco congresswoman didn't move to impeach President Bush by July 23.

Sheehan said Thursday that Pelosi had "protected the status quo" of the corporate elite and had lost touch with people in her district, most of whom, she asserted, want American troops out of Iraq.

Nadeam Elshami, a spokesman for Pelosi, would not comment on Sheehan's candidacy but said the speaker has always opposed the war in Iraq and has focused on bringing troops home "safely and soon."

Sheehan is to democrats what the proverbial embarassing relative is to some families. You know. Anything else lacks purity or realism which is why they don't report on any realistic progress I suppose.

As far as Shitcan goes, check out what she says. Its like a geeked up teen employing shock value to titillate themselves. And all the while her spacey stare and perpertual smile remind one of Jim Jones with a hardon. In fact, the brain is not present. It is not a part of her essence. Gooey emotion and the use of necrotic incest as a political tool.

The irony(or maybe not) is that by doing what she does, she doesn't make less Caseys, she makes more of them. Of course, she knows this. Misery loves company. Instead of helping other sons and daughters, she would rather they die... just like Casey, even if only to prove a sick point, namely that death is better than life and ideals are excessive to simply getting by. To the Left, ideals get in the way. No. It is better to just wave a peace flag and supinate yourself to whomever declares themself 'toughest' in the might-of-the-month club. To actually commit yourself to war about anything is obscene to the left. Weakness is an article of faith. Never project your strength. If somebody strikes you, ask for more.

The problem that no one asks the dying hippie movment is what do you do when somebody doesn't just strike you, but other people? You know, the women and children who just got in the way. And Vietnam itself was a part of that exhibition of resistence against communism. If we took Cindy's approach, Russia would have never suffered a collapse. It would have taken confidence from her weakness, the way that terrorists are now. The way that terrorists are looking to her words as a means of hope, so they kill more Americans. Death worship gains momentum from weakness. Terrorists know this. Indeed, they are defined by it. Terrorists, by definition, target women and children and then use their bodies as negotiating tools. Terrorists, by definition, do not confront strength, only weakness. Terrorists plant roadside bombs, they do not mount offensives directly against their enemies. They hide among the general civilian population. And they do it all while accusing us of immoral acts. Ironic except that we have many here who buy it. Cindy is a disciple of terrorism, an emotional supporter of terrorism, a hero of terrorists. Weakness aligns itself with weakness. Strength is antithetical to a lefty. Strength is also the enemy of a terrorist because by definition a terrorist uses the civilian as its bait and hook for future extortion, the definition of weakness. That's also how the terrorists define themself. They are 'victims'. That's what gives them the animus for doing what they do, the 'moral'(made up as it is) justification for beheading journalists and blowing up restaurants. Pretending to be a victim(propaganda) is the quickest way towards absolutism. You don't see Tibetans blowing up Chinese children. You never saw Poles infiltrating the Ukraine and blowing up Russians. And you don't see Jews going into the West Bank and blowing up women and children. The IDF actually wears a uniform and runs strikes directly into terror centers head-on. Sure, the world renames that 'state terror'(good one), but at least they don't blow up women and children.

In a world where dictators are noble creatures, the left has embarked upon a mission to rename every value anew. Right is now wrong. And wrong is now right. George Bush is Hitler. And Hitler(Hugo, Castro, etc.) are heroes. This is what happens when you have no values. Its like having your inner ear removed and being blindfolded and thrown into the ocean.
