This was very close to home (brought even more so as of late with our own home-grown child predator who began molesting the girl he got caught with now at 11, when she was 9 years old, the same age as Jessica).

My daughter and I were driving into town, and we listened to the proceedings live on the radio. I was crying all the way down the road, just the thought of that poor, dear child, locked in a closet for three days enduring numerous sexual assaults, only to have him promise her he was taking her back to her daddy and so no one would see her, convinced her to get into the plastic bag on her own. She tried to rip out of the bag as she was in the ground being covered with dirt. When they found her, she was clutching the beloved little dolphin stuffed animal her daddy had recently given her.

No, death is TOO good for him. It cannot come fast enough as far as I'm concerned. When we watched the after-the-fact coverage on the local news, some reporter stuck a microphone in front of a respresentative for some religious (I'm not going to mention the denomination, it's irrelevent, as you'll find these bleeding hearts in every denomination) group, as he was saying that the majority of people don't realize that incarceration without parole exists, and that when they find out what the death penalty entails that they would CHOOSE a life sentence over the DP. RIGHT! :rolleyes: I DARE him to start polling people in Florida in the surrounding counties where this took place -- I'm absolutely POSITIVE he would get his eyes opened wide. Matter of fact, I'm so SURE of it, I would venture to say he would not only get a majority voting for DEATH for Couey, but he'd ALSO get a waiting list of names volunteering to put the injection in his arm!

I listened to the entire pre sentence opinion by the judge on FOX. It was painful to watch the faces of her family as they had to hear step by step, the horrible details of that little girl's last days. Couey's attorneys did alot of squirming I noticed. Maybe some con will beat the living sh*t out of the creep and at least make his death painful. Jessica actually got a finger through the first bag before expiring, according to testimony.

AFAIC death can't come slow enough for this maggot. IMHO 7-10 days of slow death and torture should be enough to soften him up for his special place in hell.

What unspeakable hell he put that kid through. And I cannot believe the way he tried to jerk the system around by claiming "retardation." That local news tape that circulated shortly after his arrest, in which he was at a bar musing about the crime didn't show him to be retarded. Bastard!


Unfortunately, he'll milk that state for all its worth before he ever gets what's due him.
