Oregon went into Ann Arbor and beat the crap out of Michigan today. I guess Appalachian State wasn't a fluke.

Notre Dame went to Happy Valley, received a "white out" and a healthy beating from Penn State.

Fighting Irish manage to get 0 yards rushing (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8RHL3P82&show_article=1)

Ty Willingham's OL and DL recruiting in 03 and 04 is now starting to bite us in the ass. We knew this was coming 2 years ago and were just hoping that the two lines would develop faster than they are. It just isn't happening that way and now it's starting to hurt the development of our young QB and our RB's. If by chance this season doesn't scare off any of this years verbals we will have our 2nd straight outstanding recruitng year following Weis' first one that was good. It will be 09 before we are back to the 10 win seasons again. My word of caution is to those teams this year that may have the opportunity to run the score up ND. Claussen will be a Jr in '09 with 2 years under his belt and they will be a force. This year however; if we manage to win 4 games that will be a surprise.

:roar: Michigan on the other hand.... :rotflmbo: They were suppose to be competing for a National Championship.

I guess Appalachian State wasn't a fluke.

Actually, it was. The Mounties should have won by at least a touchdown, not a blocked FG as time expired.

Since UM and UND are playing next week, one of them will be 1-2 and the other 0-3. Otherwise, there would be a good chance of both starting out 0-3.

I guess the Wolverines covered the spread (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/2007-09-15-michigan-notredame_N.htm?csp=34).
