More of the left rubbing their hatred for America in our faces!
Columbia won't cancel Ahmadinejad speech
NEW YORK - Columbia University said it does not plan to call off a speech by Iran's president despite pressure from critics including the City Council speaker, who said the Ivy League school was providing a forum for "hate-mongering vitriol."
-- snip --
Columbia President Lee Bollinger, in announcing Ahmadinejad's upcoming appearance, described the event as part of "Columbia's long-standing tradition of serving as a major forum for robust debate." He said the Iranian president had agreed to answer questions on Israel and the Holocaust.

Columbia should be BOMBARDED with phone calls, e-mails, letters, etc. People should call for the resignation of the President.

I agree, but the fact that these tools would even entertain the idea shows how much they despise this country! Again, this needs to be tucked away in the archives for future use! When we are hit again, this needs to be brought to the forefront of the hit pieces on the left as to how they aided and abetted the enemy, emboldening them to hit us!

Yep... And as John McCain pointed out, this is one of those All American universities who kicked ROTC off campus...
That still baffles me... Its one thing if a campus is so liberal and hateful of the military that the ROTC program closes due to lack of participation... But for the Administration of a University to eject the program because they are that ANTI-American shows an unbelievably degree of arrogance and treason... Im not at all suprised that such a place would invite our sworn enemy to a garden party...
And I bet they receive our tax dollars for research... All America should be demanding that Fed funds be withdrawn from this pit of snakes...

Rusty Humphries had Brigitte Gabriel on yesterday. She was scheduled to speak at Columbia on Sep 11 but they canceled her speech. I didn't get to hear all of it, but basically they thought she may cause problems within the Muslim community. But it's OK for this ding-a-ling to speak. This country is so screwed up.

is disingenuous and complete BS!

Kathy has the truth of it... If the money started to dry up, these traitors would suddenly forget their burning desire for "robust debates"...
Columbia is trying to bill itself as the ultimate Rebel University - ready and able to be as un-American and offensive as possible... They are getting off on the negative PR...
And I bet we haven't heard a peep out of New York's Senators... Nor any of the Democrat candidates...

Nope, and you won't either! They are too busy out there spinning their no vote against Moron.org. They are so predictable it isn't even funny. If the Patriots were as confident in how their opponent would act/react as conservatives are about how lib politicos and DBM types do, they wouldn't need to cheat!!
That is what angers me about conservative politcos; we have their gameplan we know exactly what play they are going to call and yet we look like Notre Dame's offensive line trying to pick up a blitz...and we all know how that has been turning out! Pubs get sacked more than Jimmy Clausen!

That's because our Quarterback has spent the last 7 yrs trying to get along with the Defense ... trying to "sweet talk" the Defense into them allowing us to run good plays and score ...
We need a Quarterback that wants to win ... we NEED a Quarterback like "Sunshine" in Remember the Titans ... I love the play where Sunshine tells the front line to allow the defender to blow thru the line and Sunshine sends the rusher ass over apple cart ...
Referee to the "Defensive coach ....
"Call roughing on the QB ? Are you nuts ? "
We need a quarterback like that ...

Yes, I saw some Columbia specimens on Fox blabbing that "Although it's regrettable that he (Adolf Jr.) has such radical views ... " (?!) Then, they went on to bray about the importance of 'dialogue,' and 'tolerance of different views.'
I would have jumped right in with "Would you apply the same thing to Ann Coulter? The part about dialogue and tolerance of different views and radical ideas, and all that?"
What a pity I'm not a reporter. :sulk:

I am so tempted to post Columbia should be bombarded with something else besides all of the above mentioned. But in the spirit of decency you are correct. This is an affront to all the people fighting for the freedom of the Middle East to have this slimy little bastard speak at an American institute of supposed higher learning. What is wrong with these people??? I think it's nothing a full frontal labotomy could not fix.

I would be nice to see about 25000 hard-thinking conservatives show up unannounced and pound the Deans door down and anyone else who gets in the way. "Hello, anyone home!"
If enough people contributed enough money to this forum, Patriot Guards, and some other firm action non-partisan groups that can deliver thick-skinned brutal speaking protesters on short call, we could have a chance of taking this whole thing back. We need to quit messing around with these geeks and bang some new ideas around.
The more we try and reason with the University Greenies, the more they will think they have some leverage. Who does that puke think he is bringing that monster to one of our schools? Maybe he should be forced to sit and watch one of the beheading videos.

Maybe with the membership of the Councle for National Policy.
If their still interested in funding new enthusiastic projects they have the resources to do it. And their combined memberships mailing lists would produce more than enough names of people with the kind of trait-mix to bang a few ideas around with anyone who had a problem with patriotism.

Rush played excerpts frm the 60 Minutes interview.
It was like listening to Pelosi, Reid, Biden, Jon Carry, Turban, Ron Paul, Little Denny, Jester; et al. The Muslim Bastard even cited Katrina, and pointed his finger at the US, trying to shame us.
And it will only be more of the same from Columbia.
I have two questions:
1. Who is getting their Talking Points from Whom?
2. Will the Demcrat[ick] Leftist Hate America Crowd feel any shame whatsoever?

Farther on in his babble, Ahmateenieshit endeared himself to the homosexual society, I'll bet, when he did a tap dance routine around the question of homos being executed in Iran.

Will someone in the crowd have the sand to ask Ahma-donkey-co(..) what his role was in the Embassy KIDNAPPING incident during the Carter presidency? Why he made threats against Americans and committed an act of war by kidnapping them for so long?
Maybe someone will ask him why it's any of his business to interfere in the nation of Israel's self-defense against terror attacks.
Perhaps he can tell us why his people can't freely leave the country of Iran and why everything is so tightly locked down there?
Ask him why he won't have a public debate in America about the holocaust with people who were there and all the soldiers who arrived and found all the evidence in the still-standing horror camps.
As to the audience even bringing up the handwringing game over homosexual misbehavior in Iran...what a profound lack of sense of topical priority! National security and global stability folks!!!

He can bullshit his way around national security and global stability, but anything that could turn people of a liberal persuasion against him is worth it. Any bets? I have a billion to one, plus a tropical island. No snakes, but plenty of mosquitos.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

"Mr. President, you exhibit all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator," [Columbia President] Bollinger said, to applause. He said Ahmadinejad's denial of the Holocaust might fool the illiterate and ignorant.
"When you come to a place like this it makes you simply ridiculous," Bollinger said. "The truth is that the Holocaust is the most documented event in human history."
...
Asked about executions of homosexuals in Iran, Ahmadinejad said the judiciary system executed violent criminals and high-level drug dealers, comparing them to microbes eliminated through medical treatment. Pressed specifically about punishment of homosexuals, he said: "In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country."
With the audience laughing derisively, he continued: "In Iran we do not have this phenomenon. I don't know who's told you that we have this."
