SAN FRANCISCO -- One day after Barry Bonds dropped the bomb that he will not be returning as a Giant next season, he sat at his locker and explained how he's not sad, upset or even surprised at the Giants' decision to not re-sign him, just disappointed in the way it was handled and disappointed to be leaving the team that he was the face of for 15 years.

Glad all the Bonds hype went away after the Homerun chase ended! Barry has said he would like to go to an American League team to be a Designated hitter. I can only think of a team or two that might take interest with the money he'll want and one of them is owned by George Steinbrenner, not that they need him or his controversy and antics although George is pretty good about signing headcases.
