TRENTON, N.J. — Verizon Wireless on Wednesday said it had denied a request by a Washington, D.C., abortion rights group to use the company's mobile network for a sign-up text messaging program.
The program by Naral Pro-Choice America lets people sign up to receive its text messages by keying in a message to a five-digit number.
