Many web sites that post videos, such as YouTube, offer 'embed code' that allows you to embed the videos into other web sites, including into threads here at FreeConservatives. For instance, a video at YouTube will have an "Embed" block such as the block shown highlighted in blue below:

Simply copying and pasting that text into your post will embed the video.

However, there are a few caveats to consider. For instance, if you use AOL, you may have some difficulty embedding video.

If you use the WYSIWYG Editor here at FreeConservatives, you may also have some difficulty embedding video. The Standard Editor may work better for you if that is the case. You can change your editor via the User Control Panel ("User CP" link at the top of every page). Just click "Edit Options" in your User Control Panel. The editor selection is the next to last option at the bottom of the screen.

There is a speed issue with multiple embedded videos in one thread. Although embedding a video does not cause the entire video to load with the thread, it does cause an image of the first frame in the video to load. If there are multiple embedded videos in a single thread, that can significantly slow down the load time of that thread for our members that may not have high speed connections, especially if the connection to the site hosting the video is slow. Even with a high speed connection, the slowdown may be noticed if many videos are embedded, or again if the connection to the site hosting the video is slow. You may have noticed that effect already on some threads that have numerous images in them. As such, we ask that you do not embed multiple videos in one thread if you can help it. After the first video is embedded, try to just post links to any additional videos that you want to post.
