:claps:

Only one game didn't go my way this weekend (my Bubba's Dawgs lost to the Vols). LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the swamplizard game! The timing of announcing THIS game (USC vs Stanford) is what re-energized LSU to beat UF (so I'm THRILLED by the USC loss  ).

 No sympathy here, Sis!!!!! None whatsoever!!!! GO VOLS!!

But what was a lot of fun was watching LSU hand Florida their second consecutive loss!! LSU looks they'll be tough to beat.

I know, I know, but YOU don't have to live with him :smirky:!

'Course, you're Dols, err sorry, Vols didn't do so hot against the swamplizards now, did they? One and only time a year I root for T, and y'all let a 'Nole down. http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/icon12.gif You best be rooting for my 'Noles come November 24th!

Must be something about Tigers of all stripes (Auburn, LSU) ... they just seem to LOVE gatortail,

:moo: HomeschoolrsRUs, I thought about you during that LSU game. I'm glad the Tigers won, because I'd hate to see the sooners move up in the standings more than they actually will. Not that they'll win a national championship, but they certainly think they will.

I noticed that this week's issue of Sports Illustrated has three Trojans (no, I'm not talking about the birth-control products, either  ) on the cover.

The SI jinx strikes again! :D

Unlike LP, I didn't think of any of you when the Irish finally won a game! That happens when your team is struggling.

A couple more games and Brown should have completely made the transition into the 3 - 4 mindset. It has taken a few games to get away from the read and react to an attacking D. Granted UCLA had a RS Frosh after the 1st Q injury, but the D is starting to make the turn. There were still some missed tackles but the D is attacking and that is refreshing if you are an Irish fan. Next years Irish D recruits are the top of the line and if they adapt quickly to Corwin Browns 3 - 4 Base Defense it will be as formidable as the OSU D of the last few years with more quickness, more athletic ability.

As far as the Offense goes, the O-Line is still struggling tremendously with any D that blitzes. Fortunately that ship will be righted also as long as they stay healthy and JC learns to read the D quicker.

They will still struggle with BC, as that has serious potential to be a blowout, if the Irish O can't muster any ground game. As far as USC goes, I think that could very well be a competitive game, not a win, but a competitive game. We shall see, but it's somewhat early and somewhat encouraging.
