Union Representing Hollywood Film, TV Writers Wins Authorization to Strike


LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Members of Hollywood's film and television writers union have overwhelmingly voted to authorize a strike anytime after their contract expires at the end of the month.

More than 5,000 members of the Writers Guild of America cast ballots, with 90 percent voting in favor of authorizing the strike, the union said Friday evening. Members voted Thursday.

Oh please strike! And then shut your pie-holes! Perhaps then the hollyweirdians would stop producing liberal propaganda disguised as television shows and films for a while, and the good people of this country can have a rest. :smirky:

As soon as the writers strike, there will be a large number of bored actors looking for a leftist cause to adopt to pass the time.

It might be in the country's best interests for the President to step in and try to mediate/negotiate a quick end to the strike.
