On a lonely stretch of highway just outside of
Groom, Texas (near Pampa) stands a 19 story
tall cross that can be seen for miles from any
direction. The arm spans are 110 feet across.
It is constructed of a welded steel framework
covered with steel sheeting.

I've driven by that cross. It's most impressive.

I've driven by several of them. There are at least two on I-75 in Tennessee.

Seems like I've been by one of the ones in Tennessee but I don't specifically remember. I've been up and down I-75 in that state.
