Today Rush reported a prediction made by Rudy Giuliani...

Apparently Giuliani said recently that he expects at least two of the Democrat candidates will flip their stands opposing the War in Iraq as more good news is reported from there... Its hard to campaign for president while opposing a war we are winning...

An interesting observation by Mr Giuliani and worth keeping an eye on if for no other reason than its entertainment value when it comes to pass...

It raises a question in my mind: Does Rudy have 2 specific Democrats in mind or is he just playing the odds in general... I believe he is thinking of 2 specific personalities... We will discover this if our success in Iraq gains momentum on an exponential basis, which is very possible as you erode an enemy's capability to conduct war...

An issue like this war, swinging radically to the positive side, will bring with it a bumper crop of voters, just the thing a flagging campaign needs to restart itself - especially if a candidate has not courted the radical Left... Im thinking specifically of someone like Biden, maybe Richardson...

I can't find a source for this comment - maybe someone can give me a hand on this... We have some outstanding web researchers here...

I didn't hear it about Rudy, but its the standard operating procedure of Hillary and the left. Look at how Bill Clinton is trying to distance him self from them. Same thing for that Maher punk. I would bet he paid those protesters to holler out they way they did so he could look moderate.

Yes I think they are afraid. Afraid that America is seeing through the whole treasionous activities of the left. I hope Rudy has it right.

Drudge.Thanks Fox...

And here it is...

And that answers my question... He's specifically referring to Hilary and the ambulance chaser... Personally, I don't expect Edwards to change his posiiton since he is obviously pandering to the radical Left...

Hilary however, could be a different case for two reasons - 1) She has Bill setting her strategy, and Bill is willing to take any position (on the surface) to win - its only a question of spin, and 2) In her earlier attacks on Bush, she one of the Dems calling for an increase in troop levels a year or so back, so, with the proper spin, she could now claim the high ground and the position that this surge is consistant with her own public record...

I don't think either one of them think their supporters ever connect the dots.

Thats a horrible view from leaders to their troops.

Hillary knows that her typical supporter is an idiot ...
