Colbert Tops Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich in Presidential Poll
According to a new Rasmussen Reports national survey of Colbert's prospects, the comedian culls greater support from likely voters than either Ron Paulhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2.gif (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_2008__1/2008_presidential_election/stephen_colbert_tops_ron_paul_and_dennis_kucinich_ in_presidential_poll#) or Dennis Kucinich when he is pitted against those candidates.
Given a choice between Colbert running as a Democrat and Republican Congressman Ron Paul, 36% of voters prefer Colbert while Paul attracts 32%. Twenty-one percent (21%) say they’d vote for some other candidate while 10% are not sure.
If the choice is between Colbert as a Republican and Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich, it’s Colbert 37%, Kucinich 32%. Nineteen percent (19%) would vote for some other candidate and 11% are not sure.
Bad News for Ron Paul (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_2008__1/2008_presidential_election/stephen_colbert_tops_ron_paul_and_dennis_kucinich_ in_presidential_poll)

Not sure what that means but this was a poll by Rasmussen of 1200 likely voters just like many of his other polls. Granted this is just a snapshot of 26 - 28 October 2007.

You guys don't watch Fox and Friends in the morning, Stephen Colbert and Brian K have this ongoing feud. He is a comedian cut out of the same mold as Jon Stewart.

Is this the Col-bear guy they keep referring to?
I do watch Fox and Friends, and pay about half attention, listening with one ear.
My computer is situated so that my back is to the television.
I never see the television screen.

Colbert used to be on Jon Stewart's show as a fake reporter. Now he has his own show.
Heres the big secret everyone: he's a comedian... this is a joke. Hell, even I voted for a Colbert presidency over Ron Paul on several of the online polls, but only because it was for the laughs.

He's not funny, and not worth the waste of airwaves, imho. Hope he does get in trouble with the FEC. He's a nothing/nobody who's show was a spin-off from another nothing/nobody's (Jon Stewart) show (The Daily Show).

We'll start you out on the gentle comedy of the Stooges... The Black Adder is rather sophisticated and you might pull a muscle if you tried it first...:D
