Pardon me for seeming a bit silly while living in a foreign country. I had to do some internet research to find out when Veterans Day is. Monday right?
I know that events have already started. My question is, what's the right day to say thank you? I don't mean to be stupid. I realize that every day is an appropriate and acceptable day to say thank you. I'm just wondering whether ... well, now I'm wondering if there's any way to ask the question without seeming like a moron.
Let me say that I sometimes think like a journalist. There is a specific day officially defined for honoring veterans. Assuming a writer is going to publish only one thank you article soon, should - in your opinion (whether you think there is an official answer or not) that article be published on Veterans Day; or do you think that's not important - today or tomorrow or the next day is just the same?
