So, last week I sent an email to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and I got a reply this morning, from his head of cabinet, Cédric Goubet.
The email I sent basically stated that I was glad that France finally had a President willing to go against the grain, that I hoped he could turn his country around, and that I was praying for him and his leadership.
This is the reply that I got, quickly translated into English...
"Dear Mr. Richardson,
The President of the French Republic has well received your message.
Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy was extremely touched by the esteem and confidence you have in him, and that you expressed so warmly.
Also, he asked me to personally thank you for your precious support, and for your welcome well-wishes. They were for him, true encouragement.
Cordially Yours,
Head of Cabinet,
Cédric Goubet"
I just thought that was cool that they actually replied, and it wasn't a generic, "thank you for your submission" auto-reply, lol.
