Week ten was a doozy. I haven't seen so many upsets since ..
Hopefully this week will be easier to predict.
Before we get started, I'd like to dedicate a song to the least recognized but often the highest scoring member of the team.

On a more serious note..
Adrian Peterson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrian_Peterson#2007_NFL_Draft) left the game early Sunday against Green Bay with a torn knee ligament. He won't be back this week.. which is good. But word up here is that the Vikings are actually considering letting him play out the rest of the season?! That would have to rank up there as one of the most short-sighted blunders conceivable. Okay, he doesn't require Immediate surgery, and he can wait until the post season to have it taken care of (it's not crucial).. but the fact remains, it's STILL a torn ligament. They're saying it can't get worse, and though I'm not a Doctor, I just can't fathom that. :ooo:
Bottom Line: You don't risk your record setting runningback to save face (or for whatever reason), period. If the Vikes plan to build a real team around Peterson's outstanding talent, they'd better wise up and quick. :flame:

Adrian "All Day" Peterson, getting it done.
Another little (local) tidbit from my neck of the woods: Apparently GB fans are up in arms about the NFL Network bogarting the GB-Minn game last week. The only local channels in Wisconsin that got to cover the game were in Milwaukee and Green Bay, the rest of us got screwed. These division games are Always a big deal up here.
The big ruckus is that our cable provider apparently wants to bundle the NFLN with some other sports channels and charge an Extra 10$ a month. Until they get that agreement, they won't let NFLN in. Not really sure who's at fault here, everyone's just acting greedy. Lot of fans have been starting letter campaigns to the cable providers and that may make a difference. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
Looking over the upcoming weekend's schedule.. several tight matchups here. Houston visits New Orleans (both teams need a win Bad to stay relevant in their divisions). Also TB @ Atlanta, Cleveland @ Baltimore, and San Diego at Jacksonville.
And let's not forget the short-bus game of the week.. St. Louis at San Fran. Hey, they've still got fans! Besides.. it's damned cathartic for those of us with teams who aren't (cough) playing up to expectations (cough, cough Bears) to still have someone to kick around. :rotflmbo:  :roar:
On that note then, let's do this..
