Some Georgians Want the Cynthia McKinney Parkway To Hit the Road

ATLANTA, Ga. — Former Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney has pulled up stakes and moved to California, where she is considering a Green Party run for president. Now some Georgians want to erase a constant reminder that she ever lived in the Peach State.

A 20 mile stretch of I-285 — a main thoroughfare that connects downtown Atlanta to the suburb of Stone Mountain — was renamed the Cynthia McKinney Parkway in 2000 after the congresswoman secured $14 million in federal funding for DeKalb County to upgrade what was then called Memorial Drive.

Georgia House Rep. Mike Jacobs is supporting a state resolution proposed last year that calls for the parkway to revert to its original name.

“If had I had to pick any road in the state of Georgia to strip the name from, this would be it,” said Jacobs, who represents part of DeKalb County. “The original name of the road is Memorial Drive, which is named for the men and women who died protecting our freedom.

"Who’s more deserving? I think the question answers itself.… [And] in light of the fact that her commitment to the state of Georgia is nil, we should re-double our efforts to remove her name from a state road.”...http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,311518,00.html

She's on the Green Party ticket here now and hasn't requested to have her name removed at this point (I don't think). There are five or six candidates altogether. I think she's also on the ballot in IL, IL having the next largest number of Green Party members behind CA. I don't think she has actually moved here yet.

Just watch...........that psychobitch will run for congress in CA eventually. She'll seek out a district somewhere around Oakland. She's registered to vote in Marin County right now, and she could even get traction there because it's full of very wealthy, far-left, America-hating, anti-war environazis, but she might be a little out of her league there. Barbara Lee is the rep for the district that includes Oakland, so she won't run for that one because Lee was hand-picked and groomed by her predecessor, Ron Dellums, whom most of you know or should know about. Dellums is now mayor of Oakland, so there will be no upset in that district as long as Lee wants it. But that's a densely populated area and there are several (four or five) geographically small districts crammed together through there. They're full of militant, old-school Black Panther Party commie psychos like Dellums, Lee and McKinney, most of whom are black (and all old friends of Hillary's), so she'll find a way to run. It's too bad she didn't pick Detroit or Chicago instead, but CA has better weather.

Dellums succeded Moonbeam as Mayor, maybe when Moonbeams term as Attorny General expires, She will run for California Attorney General. While she's waiting she could get her law degree at Berkley, or go straight to the bar exam. She allready knows it all.
