Raised in a politically conservative (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_conservative) household,[11] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_Rodham_Clinton#_note-brock-exc) at age thirteen she helped canvass South Side Chicago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_side_%28Chicago%29) following the very close 1960 U.S. presidential election (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election%2C_1960), finding evidence of vote fraud (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vote_fraud) against Republican (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Party_%28United_States%29) candidate Richard Nixon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Nixon),[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_Rodham_Clinton#_note-gerth-vannatta-book) and volunteered for Republican candidate Barry Goldwater (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Goldwater) in the U.S. presidential election of 1964 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election%2C_1964).[13] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_Rodham_Clinton#_note-5) Her early political development was shaped most strongly by her energizing high school history teacher, like her father a fervent anti-communist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-communist), and by her Methodist youth minister (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Youth_minister), like her mother concerned with issues of social justice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_justice); with the minister she saw and met civil rights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_rights) leader Martin Luther King, Jr. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King%2C_Jr.) in Chicago in 1962.

I had forgot about Hitlery actually starting out life as a repub, now as to what kind of Republican she was is obviously unknown. What sticks out the most to me is that her high school history teacher was a "fervent anti-communist" as was her father. The second indicator was her social concscience which was shaped by a Methodist youth minister and her mother. What went wrong? She blames her leaving the Republican party on Nixon's attacks against the Rockefeller camaign and "veiled" racism of the Republican convention, but I doubt that. She sounded like she was on the right track to be a great conservative leader, anti -communist background, concerned with people, and a little bit of a religious background. Now she is a communist supporter, concerned only with herself, and wishes to remove religion and God from the landscape. She characterized her own nature as that of "a mind conservative and a heart liberal," guess the heart won out over the mind as in typical Libtard fashion.
